Gotta get away
There's no point in thinking about yesterday
I sit in this room, staring blankly at the walls.
They've locked me in here,
thinking I'd change.
But now I just get worse...rotting away each day.
My frame is frail,
many days I have gone without eating
refusing everything passed my way.
Nothing has passed my lips in so long,
I'm surprised I haven't withered away.
I sit in this room,
watching as the door opens slowly.
An old lady walks in and sits on the bed,
MY bed.
She looks at me solemnly,
then starts apologizing.
But I just look at her,
and point at my door. Telling her to get out,
I don't want to hear these lies.
It's too late now,
It won't ever be the same

Wow...I haven't been here in forever XD I agree...Thanksgiving and Christmas are TORTURE to clean up for. Trust me, I should know, I had to clean Thanksgiving plate/pots/pans/measuring cups by hand because our dishwasher broke

She touches the little box in her pocket and smiles
It was her secret...
not even her momma knew.
It wouldn't be long before everyone knew,
the news would soon spread,
and she would be glad.
She sat on her bed,
and pulled out the box...
looking at the positive and thinking names up.
This one was fun to write...kinda like how Jess thought she would end up. Yet luckily she didn't. So yea...I'm not really sure how old the girl is in the poem but she still lives with her mom so shes prolly around 16-18.

You know...I think I might have my own personal Dec. NaNo. since my November one sucked haha. I even had my English teacher disapointed in me :'( so I have to finish it for her sake [and the sake of extra credit to bring up my 62]

Seriously. I think it's weird that people refuse to try things like sushi and eggnog. Just because it MIGHT be icky? Come on! I don't understand! You take a sip, make your decision, and move on with life one way or the other. It seems so...juvenile, I guess...to refuse to try something because you might not like it, or even probably won't like it.
And that's just weird that you let your friend's dad make your food choice decisions. stare

I've tried sushi...and squid..and seaweed. but I refuse to try eggnog. Haha, and I know I won't like it cus there are very few...well no weird drinks that I like. I stick to my pop and milk in the drink area. But for food, I'm all for it XD
