Aww...well, you last option is Action Replay and hacking in a Manaphy Egg. Other than that, you're out of luck. :<
Or you can probably get lucky and find a new copy of Pokemon Ranger, but you would need Diamond/Pearl for that one and Ranger 2's extra missions have passed. and those send directly to Platinum.

So then, I cant get Manaphy? D:
I'm afraid not, but I don't mind parting with my Manaphy in Diamond if you don't mind it at level 14-15. :3

Devoted to Andy Rememberance Rikku Devoted to Andy Rememberance Rikku The Enforcer666 If you bought it used, then there is a good chance that someone already completed this mission. At which point you have to start over from the beginning and beat the game. There should be a option to delete current save game. If this is a new game, beat the game, input that password and do the mission.
To transfer it over, you're going to need 2 DSs, one with Ranger, the other with the game to which you are sending the Egg.
If none of that is still working then contact Nintendo and see what the deal is.
Erasing the game data doesn't change the Ranger Net missions. Each Ranger cartridge holds 1 Manaphy egg and resetting it won't bring it back.

The first game can only send Manaphy to D/P...you know that right?
The 2nd Ranger's Manaphy quest is obsolete.
As to WHY yours won't bring the quest up, I'm not too sure. I hope you get your answer
