That's what happens when you whore it out to the rest of the internet.....
But anywho, honestly, I don't have my hair dyed a crazy color, but I do understand the whole..."you don't look 'normal' so I won't hire you" thing. (I wear a freaking fedora half the time..which is a type of hat, and when I don't look like I stepped out of a 30s film, I look like a gypsy..) It's happened to a number of my friends, and is the only reason I haven't dyed my hair yet. Luckily people in California are somewhat liberal when it comes to those things.
Don't listen to these rude commentators. They're nothing more than a personification of a society that has no purpose but to make a spectacle out of people who are different from themselves. United States my a**, I may love my country, but sometimes the people can be so..shallow. People who are that blatantly stupid are not worth your time anyway. Be who you are, but don't expect everyone to understand. It makes the few that do understand, stand out in the long run.

Gah...my profile has a pic of me on it with my glasses. I have been told I pull tha look off moderately well. I wish I had contacts sometimes. I can't live without my glasses. I wouldn't even be able to see without them! xp

I believe that everyone has a certain level of sensitivity, some more than others.

Yes, but I do also believe in discerning whether or not you think they are shams.

Several. When I was younger I'd often see the ghosts of people my family knew, or who were part of my family, that had died at the hour I'd seen them. This happened on at least 3 different occasions. As I got older I realized that I had a problem with being able to sense only spirits that were negative, but I ran into one that lived in my apartment, and he's followed me ever since, more of a ever watchful friend than anything. I probably shouldn't say anymore about the others that have latched onto me. All of which are quite benevolent. Often when I was upset things would creak in the apartment I lived in at the time. It was very awkward. I eventually slipped into a depression after a number of medical issues within my family, and went to bed willing myself never to wake up again. Apparently my will was strong enough I woke up only to find I was staring down at myself in the bed. Frightened, I screamed for my mom but no sound came to my words. I then felt frantic...but all at once the franticness dissappeared. It was like some kind of peace had surrounded me. Then something put a hand on my shoulder, paralyzed I could hear it speak, and it said to me that it was not my time yet (to die) and told me to look back at my body and I'd be able to return. I did. I woke up so cold. I found out I had been gone for hours, and my mom came in, asking if I was okay, because she felt like something was wrong. She held my hand, and realized I was freezing. It took me the whole night to warm up again...My mom said I was clammy almost. I believe this was a near death experience as well as an OBE (out of body experience).
That's just some of the things I've experienced. These do not include me almost being posessed by a malevolent spirit...etc..etc....that was possibly the most frightening thing I've ever experienced! Also, I have been tested for several different mental illnesses including schitzophrenia and all have returned negative. Something is definately going on that we can't, and probably don't want to see. I've also had instances with prcognitive dreams, as well as accidentally getting into other peoples dreams only to find out about it by talking to a friend the next day!

I do not use ouija boards. I dislike them with a passion. They are evil.
Recently I've just learned and become interested in tarot, and to be honest I've had less spiritual disturbances when using them than without!
