Han Hyuga Yo what's up everyone? Has anyone seen or heard anything about Dynasty Warriors 6? It does actually look like they really went to town with it. Lu Bu looks AWESOME...
Dynasty Warriors 6
Tell me what you guys think...
My boyfriend had it imported from Japan - it's actually pretty good, despite all the grousing about cut characters and musou modes (my favorite doesn't have one anymore! LE TEAR :'( ). I also like the new music and character designs.
Bofu anyone know how bladestorm plays? is it like kessen?
I don't know about Kessen, but it plays SORT OF like a DW game - except instead of just you, it's just you and your troops. If you dismiss them, you get your a** handed to you. Don't know much else, though, as I've only watched it being played.

Fun fact: The more you're told you can't have something, the more you will want it.
Seem relevant?
If so, good! You've taken the first step towards understanding why a guy who might be into you would say no when you ask him out!
I'd say the best thing to do, then, would be to play it off like you don't care - maybe even pretend to be interested in another guy or guys. Fight fire with fire.
Once you convince him that YOU'RE unavailable, you'll be in a better position to make him come to you (or at least get his guard down some).

herr_doktor.exe bisexuality imo, does not exist. there is lust, promiscuity, but there is no true bisexuality. Because despite all they experiment with, they either go one way or another- k?
Like Bowie, I take it he's straight, he can like guy's bodies, he can sleep with Mick Jagger, but in all he settled down with a woman and is content. I think true bisexuality, you can't settle with one. :3 If there's any preferential treatment at all, I don't believe they're bi.
I personally think alot of woman are hot as hell, but I know I'll never settle with one, so I don't find a need to hook up with them.
This, I think, is the root cause of the majority of prejudice against bisexuals (as evidenced in this thread by everyone who's anti-bi saying basically this - I've also heard it IRL from straights AND gays).
Of course you can't settle with both at the same time - that would be two-timing (although I've known people to have those kinds of open relationships, too)! Unfortunately, sexual preference isn't determined by who you're with at the time - it's determined by who you would, if possible, sustain a relationship with.
OBSERVE:
Quote: Sexual orientation refers to the direction of an individual's sexuality, usually conceived of as classifiable according to the sex or gender of the persons whom the individual finds sexually attractive. - Wikipedia
Notice that it doesn't say "the person whom the individual is currently sleeping with/crushing on". So yes, by the second definition, bisexuality doesn't exist. The first definition, however, is the more valid and widely-accepted one. Whether you believe it does or doesn't is your own OPINION.
As for discrimination, I'd say male bisexuals are discriminated against more than females - personally, I've never been called a slut or indecisive by people I run into IRL because of my preference... although I have had guys say they thought it was hot (wtf?). Then again, I don't run around shoving my tongue down anyone else's throat in public, regardless of gender. So it may be in how the bis who're getting discriminated against present themselves in public - their behavior reflecting in a negative light on their preference.
Then again, I've had bisexual friends whose boyfriends got pissy whenever they mentioned their bisexuality. This particular bit of negativity is caused by insecurity - nothing more. Yes, if you would resent your boy/girlfriend for being attracted to both sexes, it stems from your own insecurity - a gnawing question of "Well, what if s/he likes them more than me?" In which case you' may have a long, difficult relationship ahead of you, since you're most likely lacking the trust and self-confidence necessary to be a good partner. In other words, if you completely trusted your partner, and trusted yourself to keep them, this wouldn't be a major question in your relationship.

I see no problem with this, especially considering it's classical art - so as it stands now, we can't even link stuff like La Pieta. Which. Makes no sense to me.

Pocky Obsessions
No it's completely different. Store items you buy with gold. GC Shop you buy with real money that has been "converted" into GC. Plus I'm outraged that such a company would dare price such a pixles item for such a price. Well I guess it's better than MapleStory.
You can get Store Items with GC, too - everything you click has a 'buy with cash' option once you've bought cash. It's always been this way, except now they've made it a little more fair - the conversion from dollars into GC *used* to be 1 cent = 1 GC dollar = 1 gold. But since they opened the cash shop, they made the GC go farther - now it's about 1 cent = 1 GC dollar = 60 gold.

Aren't you mad that they would even dare pricing such an item?
Considering I've bought and sold enough of 'em to complete four different quests that I was on? Nope.
Also considering that Gaia gift cards come in denominations of 10 and 25 dollars, I don't think it's more than they were already selling to begin with.
Also also, seeing as they already had regular shop items priced that high, I can definitely see the moon coming down to meet those items' prices in gold in the next week or so - matter of factly, it's already coming down a bit (by about 10k below yesterday's price). And if the Spores and the Corallus are any indication (and I hope they aren't, really), a few days after the first evolution, you might even see the price bottom out, because as heavy as the activity is on the Marketplace with them, you can bet people are gonna horde them, then dump them. So the gold users might actually come out with the upper hand in a couple weeks.
Personally, my advice to you would be to try waiting before you get one, just like with the MCs - at worst, you can always pop the $10 if you really want one and the MP price is still above 56k (the estimated gold price the MP gives)... and at best, you can snatch one up in a few weeks at 5k after the almost-inevitable horde-and-dump happens.
Either way, as long as this thing's available in the Cash Shop, it's not going to inflate anymore than it already has (like, say an Angelic Pendant or Sash or something).

Oh -- and when I was a small child in the 80s, I watched pretty much nothing but Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th movies with my mom (not to mention Skinimax and all sorts of action-adventure flicks).
I don't think I have to tell you that blood and gore don't scare me, but I certainly don't run around killing people with chainsaws, either.

The psychological research I've seen says that the video games don't CAUSE violence, they exacerbate it in people who were unstable to begin with.
Which is to say that a mentally stable (and yes, most people are mentally stable enough for this to apply) who plays GTA and Manhunt all day long won't go out and start strangling small furry animals -- but a slightly schizophrenic person just might if they're not supervised. And from the slightly schizophrenic person I knew a few years back, this seems to really be the case.
