Healthy looking models? WHAT THE HELL!?!?!? Go to post 824 Extended Discussion Mon Jan 15, 2007 3:55 am
Am I the only person who looked at the 'eww no' pictures and the 'yes' pictures in the quote at the beginning of the post and couldn't see why the 'eww no's were supposed to be 'fat'? HI ANOREXIA!

Anyway, I agree with the OP - also, for my two cents, throughout history, 'classically svelte' has meant more of what Marilyn Monroe looked like than an emaciated walking corpse - unless you consider Twiggy 'classic'. Pencil-thin has only been in since she introduced it in the 60s, after all.

ink, what do we do with it??? Go to post 2 Questions & Assistance Sun Jan 14, 2007 6:10 am
The Towns forum has a lot of great tutorials on bugs, flowers, and inks, but basically you collect the bugs to make inks and you collect the flowers to make bouquets.

Once you have enough flowers and enough gold, you can take everything to Rina at the FlowerShop and she can make a bouquet for you. As a final step, she'll ask if you want to dye the ribbon and paper she's using for the bouquet - if you have ink, this is where you use it.

This is how people get the spiffy bouquets you see floating around!
Christians Need To be Bashed. Go to post 1320 Extended Discussion Sun Jan 14, 2007 5:14 am
Psycho Ninja
The Catholics go way outside the Bible, claiming people need to confess sins to a priest, and that Mary is Queen of Heaven.... I don't know where any of this even got started......

Catholocism actually adopted many pagan practices in its early history to attract the pagans in the surrounding countryside to services. That's why many Christian holidays fall on the same days as pagan holidays (or near them).

As for the original post, I do agree. There's nothing more irritating than listening to a televangelist go on about how persecuted and discriminated against Christians in America are today everytime some other religious group wants a little more recognition. I agree that Christians in America have it easier than just about any other place on earth (for example, sub-Saharin Africa!). How many American Christians would be willing to go to those war-torn countries where just being a Christian volunteer would get them shot and killed (and how many of those number would actually be willing to forgive their attacker with their dying breath, as the nun who was killed a couple months ago did)?

And although I'm not a Christian, I do admire the original poster's sentiment here. It's very noble of you. 3nodding

No. If a black person is emo, the Racial Draft trades them to the whites. sad

Guild Benefits Go to post 2 Questions & Assistance Sat Jan 13, 2007 4:28 am
As a member of a nearly non-existant fandom, I can say the benefit is getting all the fans of one series/concept/movie/sport/game in one place to talk about said fun obsession. 3nodding Sometimes it's hard to find your fellow fans, and Guilds make it easier.

Also, being a captain is a huge power trip. biggrin b
WHAT THE HELL?! Go to post 4 Questions & Assistance Sat Jan 13, 2007 4:25 am
What they said - until more lots are available (or you have a ton of gold), lots are unavailable.

In the meantime, you can still make your house! (and when the Inventory Arranger comes back up, you can also put more stuff in it!)

I'm tempted to tell you that your account is going to be deleted OH NOES...

But I'm not that mean.

This is why the 'friends@gaia' feature no longer works. When it comes back up, please don't use it unless absolutely necessary (and definitely not to pass on a retarded chain letter).

wow, but i dont have that
oh ru saying hackers do/? redface

You may, actually. It depends on your internet connection. If you have a router in your home, each computer actually has a different IP address (unless you're on a LAN, you can usually switch these up). Dial up internet is also dynamic, meaning you'll get a slightly different IP everytime you connect.
