Oh well, Alex thought Could've been worse...
she sighed, finished her breakfast, and slung her book bag over her shoulder and began walking to Care of Magical Creatures.

Alex walked into the Great Hall examining her new schedule.
Care of Magical Creatures - 9:00 a.m. She read inside her head as she sat down at the blue table. The young Ravenclaw finally tore her eyes away from the paper, spooned some scrambled eggs onto her plate, and began eating when there was a tap on her shoulder.
" Yush?" she said with her mouth full of eggs. As she turned around she saw it was Harry Potter who had disturbed her from her meal. Her face grew pink as she swallowed her chewed eggs.
Oh s**t!
" Umm, hullo," said the boy who lived "I noticed you're new and I wanted to introduce myself, I'm-"
" Harry Potter..." she said feeling like an idiot "I'm Alex Dubois, nice to meet you." she gave a cheesy smile.
" Nice to meet you." he replied, shaking her hand. "Well I'll let you get back to your breakfast. Bye."
" Bye..." she said, but she stupidly thought
His hand was so warm

Alex was a bit disapointed by Kit's small reaction and changed back to her normal form.
"I'm sure I will like it here..." she said, feeling tired now. " Well, merci for introducing yourself to me. Bon nuit!" She waved goodnight to Kit then ran to catch up with the other blue clad students on their way to Ravenlaw tower.

Alex's eyes widened as Kit said all this. "What?!" she thought, but she replied "Um, I'm Alexandra Dubois, please call me Alex though. I'm a 4th year..." She suddenly had an idea "If this girl is going to act strangely then I'll do it too!" She closed her eyes and concentrated. With a small pop Alex's face instantly transformed into Kit's.

The blonde girl suddenly looked at Alex, so once again she had to turn her head away.
"Damn, why does every one stare at you whenever you try to get a good look at them?!" Alex though furiously.
The golden dinner ware at each table magically disapeared and all the students got up to go to thier dormitories, except the blonde Hufflepuff girl who promptly dived off her table and landed ungracefully on the floor.
"What the hell is she doing?!" She thought as everyone began to laugh. Alex didn't know whether to laugh or feel sorry for the girl. She compromised by laughing as she ran to see if the Hufflepuff was alright.
When she reached the place where the girl was brushing herself off she said "Hey, are you ok?"

At the Ravenclaw table a girl of 14 (soon to be 15 in November) named Alex looked around at her new classmates, taking everything in.
" Everything's so different here..." She thought "Beuxbatons was so strict, hardly anyone's listening to Dumbledore. Madame Maxime would freak out if she didn't have eveyone's attention..."
Her mind wandered to the memory of last week when Dumbledore had come to her new house with The Sorting Hat and had told her she'd be in Ravenclaw. He delivered her school list personally as a gesture of kindness. Alex thought it was rather nice of him, but her parents, not speaking a lick of English, had thought he was a thief.
" Non, Mere non!" she had screamed as her mother lifted a vase above her head about to throw it. " Professeur Dumbledore!" she explained to her mom. Her father had been quite embarrassed when he found out.
Alex smiled at her thoughts and continued to look around. She had decided to leave her hair the way it was the day she arrived and the first day of school, so everyone could get to know what she really looked like, though she had wanted to use her Metmorphmagus powers to change her hair to blue, to show her Ravenclaw spirit.
Suddenly she spotted a black haired boy with glasses at the Gryffindor table. He looked around and saw her staring at him and she quickly looked away and blushed. She recognized him as Harry Potter from the scar on his forehead. Trying not to think of how stupid she must have looked, Alex fixed her gaze upon the Hufflepuff table. A blonde girl was leaning upon her hand and looking thoroughly bored.

" Well alright, if you say so. Good night...Uh I mean morning...or...whatever." *dumps eggs in trash bin*

Uh hi, I'm just wondering how my art is going? Not that I'm trying to rush you or anything, you just didn't post back on my request saying you could do it and i thought you might have missed it... sweatdrop
