"Then I guess I'll count myself lucky you're not a Telvanni Lord." Muru answered before he blinked, raising an eyebrow at Jack. It wasn't until the Falmer spoke did he understand the Mer's shock. He carefully arranged his face into a frown, though his eyes spark with slight amusement before he frowned for real.
'If that was his father...then...is he haunting the house? He looked rather wrath like, he could be dangerous...' The Imperial thought.
Alia's eyes darted from Muru to Jack as she bite her lip. 'Poor Jack...' the Bosmer thought again, her eyes looking towards Jeir, hoping that the other girl could help comfort the Falmer mage.
Lowering her head a little, Alia reached out and picked up Jack's dropped mug. Reaching side of her robe, she fiddled with the scarf around her waist before she finally managed to get it untied and turning back, she wiped up the coffee that had spilled before the elf sat back on her heels.

Alia's eyes shifted to Jack's workshop and she made a mental note to remind herself to definitely not touch anything in the room unless the Falmer mage told her she could. The Bosmer then glanced back at Muru as the Imperial stared at Jack calmly.
"I've heard the phrase, but so far, nothing magical has done me in yet..." The Imperial said as he took a drink of his coffee. "Besides, messing with things you shouldn't makes life for fun." he added with a smirk. The man then shrugged. "Yes, basically." he said. 'I want it like a babe wants it's mother. The armor is cursed, that's why I want it...I have to have it...' Muru thought. He also couldn't answer Jack's question about the identity of the spirit, but tried to explain himself a little better at any rate. "As I said, it looked a little like you. More Dunmer and while I can't tell from looking at any of you elves, he did look slightly older...and terribly mangled as well." "And I believe I know what I want Jack, and that suit of armor is one of them." Muru said softly with a small, cocky smile. |

The Bosmer girl glanced back at Jack, smiling slightly as she nodded. "Alright Lord Jack." she said softly. 'No mercy...I guess if a huge wolf was attacking me or someone else, I couldn't give it mercy....' Alia though as she turned, blinking at Jack and then Muru. As she listened, she bite her lip a little. 'They're not going to get into a fight I hope...' The girl thought. Muru glanced down into his mug, watching the coffee as he frowned slightly before he smirked. "Now Jack, no need to become so demanding..." The Imperial said before he looked up. "I'll admit that I did look through the helmet, and what I saw was it has a strange enchantment on it. My sight turned red and if I'm guessing correctly, I say it's an enchantment to see spirits. Your house is haunted Jack by a spirit...well...a spirit that looks like you, really." Muru said before he quickly added. "The armor doesn't look so heavy that it would hamper me in combat or walking too badly either." The man shifted before he glanced sideways. Did a shadow pass between Alia and the fire? There was nothing there. Muru quickly brushed the tingling of fear at the back of his neck aside, he telling himself that it was the firelight's dancing that caused the shadow. |

Alia listened before she glanced down towards the floor. "I'm sorry Lord Jack, I didn't mean to say something that brought up the past." she said softly. 'So...if they are slaves of both body and mind, then they can't help themselves...they kill because they have.' The Bosmer thought before she looked back up. 'Do we kill them if they attack?...we have to protect ourselves, but if they have to kill, then it's not the same as a bandit...or....or maybe it is...a bandit might kill to feed his family right? So he kills...but consciously...and a werewolf kills because they have to?' Alia continued to think before she shook her head and reached hand to her forehead. 'I'm giving myself a headache thinking like this.' The elf thought and then took another sip of her drink. 'Poor Jack though....both his parents might have been killed by werewolves...' She thought before she turned away from the group slightly, her face falling as her mind drifted to very fuzzy memories of her own parents. Muru waited a moment, but after Alia was silent for a long moment, he turned back to Jack, taking a drink of his coffee before he continued. "It's very exquisite armor." The Imperial replied. "I was hoping I could get you to sell it to me......" he added, but mentally he was cursing his luck. 'Damn, it's his father's, like he'll part with it.' |

Muru swirled his drink with his finger, silent for a moment before he shrugged.
"Perhaps death would be better. I have no desire to become the slave to anyone or creature." The Imperial muttered before he smirked. "Creatures of an eviler demon-like prince all deserve death anyway." The man added before he glanced at the part Falmer. "Speaking of wolves Jack, I want to speak to you about that wolf armor of yours." Muru began, but stopped when Alia shifted and looked up. The Bosmer licked her lips of chocolate before she looked at Jack, shifting. "Lord Jack...werewolves were regular people before they were changed right?" she asked softly. "And if that is so...and they are slaves...wouldn't they just be doing as their master told them? Would it be right to kill them then?...But...they do kill...so do they deserve to die?" The Bosmer asked meekly. |

Alia glanced at Jack as he spoke. 'Not many settlements...so it's mostly snow...and that leaves this land so bare looking...' she thought as she glanced down into her cocoa and sighed slightly. 'The snow is pretty...but how does stuff live up here with little greenery?' The Bosmer wondered, half listening to Muru and Jack speak.
"I see." Muru said as he leaned back on his hand. "I recall looking at the letter briefly, and I can say that the seal is foreign to myself. Makes me wonder what type of person would send a bunch of letters out randomly to several people, some more experienced then others..." The Imperial said as he glanced sideways at Alia. "...and what's the odds that some of them have bounded together in a group?" He wondered aloud before he took a long drink of his coffee. "Skaal...they're the Nordic tribes farther north right?" The man asked after a moment. "...wouldn't raiding the place where this sun stone put us in a bad situation with the tribes?" Muru didn't really care whither they were intruding on sacred land or not. He just wanted to know if they would be hunted down afterwards for taking an artifact. He his uncaring attitude from his face however. |
