I'm afraid I haven't watched Pokemon in a while, so I honestly don't remember a lot about Misty. I do remember liking her though.

How come we never meet bumbling grunts from OTHER teams?

Team Aqua Shelly
I personally like the older seasons more.

- Voice actors were better.
- Better ideas, and it seemed to be a bit more dramatic.
- The older episodes actually entertained me, whereas the newer ones bore me a bit.
- Old Team Rocket motto FTW.

Don't get me wrong, I do like the newer ones. It's just that...they don't have the same feel.

I couldn't have said it better myself. It made for a cute gag when TR's motto occasionally got interrupted, but CHANGING it? Nuh-uh.

Basically, I was saying that Ask and Brock should be doing grown-up stuff now (noooot like that, lol) instead of starting out alongside newbs every generation.

It's also spreading to posts that are deleted. If one of the infected posts pushes another post onto a new page, and someone deletes the infected post, the next page of the guild thread will be unreadable.

Why oh why have our admins abandoned us in our time of need? *wails*

Boy, stop being a drama queen. 2k that the mods will have this fixed by Tuesday.

I think what would be great would be if the producers started appealing to the older age ranges. For example, in Hoenn, I think it was brilliant that we had Ash and Brock, the "veterans" (work with me here), and May, who was learning about Contests, and Max, who... well, he just liked Pokemon, even though he wasn't old enough to have one of his own.

I don't like how May was replaced after one generation - I rather liked her character, and I would have liked to her stick around and see her continue to perfect her Contest skills. Not that I particularly dislike Dawn, but does Ash really need a fresh start every season?

Anyways, I think it would be interesting to see Ash and Brock deal with higher-level Pokemon stuff, alongside Dawn- (or May) -the-newbie. Hell, I'd be happy if they brought back some non-trainer and non-coordinator characters, like Tracy and, what was that other boy's name? Snap? Todd? The boy who photographed Pokemon?

I have to say, my favorite part of Pokemon is when they discuss the history between humans and Pokemon, and when the world is being explored. Constant battling is great for appealing to young boys, and the pretty Contests for young girls, but... I feel there's much more implied in the games than is being addressed in the television series.

I'm one of the slightly older fans of the Pokemon television series. I remember the older seasons best. For those Pokemon fans who prefer the older series over the new one, mind letting us in on why?

I personally think the Kanto and Johto tv series was more dramatic, and dealt with more difficult issues. Of course, this being Pokemon, the main lesson will always be "do your best, aim for your dreams, and keep trying even if you don't always win the first time". But I see in the original Pokemon a wider range of different lessons, like facing your fears, learning to let go of the people you love (sniff... Butterfree forever!), even death.

Maybe it's just because I was younger and still in the targeted age range that the older generations seem more... intelligent, and darker to me. Not that Ash was particularly intelligent then.

I'm sure Gaia is working on the problem.
They probably haven't posted anything because they are too busy working on how to fix the bug.
The best thing to do is not panic and to just wait.

i agree. Its common politics to not post any response unless you have a sort of solution. People don't want to know your "working on it but have nothing" the majority want to hear the "results" or "possible explanations" not "we're working on it"

its their job to fix these problems and they probably already know about them and are just working on finding a possible way to solve the problem before they announce anything...

(i mean, there isn't any way they wouldn't know about the problem, they practically stare at the bugs and tech difficulties forum for most of the day, so with all the threads and how many times this one gets bumped, they can't miss it.)

the best thing is to stay calm and wait it out. they will fix it, eventually.

Has gaia staff just sat there and done nothing while people were complaining about something? no. and if they didn't fix something in the past, they tried their hardest to, so somehow they will figure out what's wrong and stop the problem at the source. ^^

And if not, we will be there with the flaming pitchforks of tough love.

Make room for me in the boat!

So, is this happening only in the guilds, or in the forums too?

When the truck was long gone, Christabelle looked at her mother. "Fossi?"

Mrs. Baylee nodded. "Would you like a double dose of irony, hun? You know how every so often, teachers and counselors take classes and go to workshops to keep their degrees up to date?" She paused, smiling to herself. "He knows me as Professor Baylee. I was his teacher."

"Mom, you're old..."

"I object! We're only ten years apart, and it was a mandatory class for two semesters." Mrs. Baylee's eyes lit up. "He still owes me six dollars and fifty-two cents from when his car ran out of gas!"

"Only that much?"

"Gasoline was barely a dollar for the longest time!"

"Mom, you're old!!"

((This is hilarious, writing Foster's history on the spot. Sorry Mitsuki!))
