MagicalMeowe Actually come to think about it I remember studying this back in Economics the other week. :/ There's a point were people stop buying the items because of the price, and there's a point where people buy more than enough because supply is great. And the ones who collect moderate priced items are the users with A LOT of gold.
Then they sell those items back to you and earn even MORE gold.
Gaia is trying to get them to sink more gold into higher priced items.
This shop isn't for the "middle" class to buy items and lose their gold.
It's for the "upper" class to lose/sink their gold into.

And Gaia has been using "moderate" prices for how many years now? Yet, we ended up with too much gold in the system and artificial inflation going crazy.
Using "Moderate prices" failed.
Now they're trying "higher prices".

CoffeeFox darkspineshadow2 If you don't have the gold then why can't you just save up for them like everyone else is doing?
Because it would take several dozen years.
MCs and EIs don't gain in price quickly, and the games don't give you anywhere the gold output you would need.
EI's do gain in price quickly.
I bought 1 Gogh Reed when it was 130k.
And how much was the next week? 200k.
The week after? 300k.
On the day it ended? 400k or more.
As for MCs.
Buy a sealed for 30k and it'll be worth 50-60k when it's released.
That's only a few weeks.

They're suppose to be pricey and they're not really targeted at you.
They're more for the uses who are holding onto A LOT of gold to buy these items.
That way it takes more gold out of the millionaires hands, which in the future will make items more affordable for the "poor users w/ jobs" or whatever.
This shop is really helping you.

It's a GOLDSINK.
The prices are purposely pricey.
And it's only, what, 4 items.
Out of the 10 or more affordable AND AWESOME items we got earlier, are you really going to b***h about not being able to afford 4 items?

Iggy The Balrog The Bystander Effect has already been mentioned I see, however, I can't see how anyone can condone the actions of those who video such things.
The words "Sick" and "********" spring instantly to mind.
I'd like to think that I'd do something, but who really knows until it happens to them. Well, I doubt the kids that videotaped it did that for some kink.
But, I do think they're brave for doing that.
Because of that they have the gangs that did it on video.
They can't use a alibi and no one has to rely on witnesses foggy memory.
It's right there in color.
Plus, they risked their lives to do that. A gang member could have seen the mobile and harmed those kids just to keep them from getting caught.

Those items will just collect dust in my inventory.
Or be sold a few days later for investments.
Though, they seem they'll be hard to sell, too.
So it's a win/lose situation in getting them.
