Yen could only smile back at the surprised expression Kenrou gave her. If this famous man had been thrown off by her appearance then that meant she really had done a good job with her costume. Her smile fell as she heard that Gabriel wouldn't be joining them. 'Where is he?' She thought with a furrowed brow. She nodded before she started to walk behind Kenrou. "Yeah, I got it."
'I wonder where he went...' her frowned deepened just briefly. As much as Gabriel had scared her she was honestly disappointed that he was gone. She wasn't sure if she was worried or not- just that the fact that he was missing and wouldn't be joining them stung her in the side. It felt as if something had just been taken away from her. Her brother seemed a bit happier however he also looked grim as well. They were both disappointed and happy for the same reason: Gabriel was a very dangerous man and definitely something that neither of them had ever come in contact with before. This fact made Ian happy that the man was gone and away from his older triplet. For Yen, however, the curiosity that had been boiling up behind her fear and uncertainty suddenly felt shot and wounded. 'Maybe he'll come back...' she thought to herself as she looked around the stables. There was hardly any hope placed behind the thought. Gabriel seemed like someone who preferred to run independently. '...Goddamn it....' She hadn't even bothered to get to know him a little more before now and now her opportunity to learn more about him might have vanished forever. Had it been foolhardy of her to assume that she'd have more time? Yen stepped out from behind Kenrou and then waved her foot at the empty air in top of a haystack. "Bugger off," she muttered as she set her foot down and watched the sprites she'd seen laughing mischievously take out the door. "For having such a spirit empty spirit this stall sure has a lot of spirits inside of it. Maybe that's why the horses weren't afraid of me." She said as she scratched the back of her head. Her brother made an agreeable noise as she turned around to face Sigmund. "How many horses do we have? If it's two I hope we won't be doing hard riding. Horses have never really liked me all that much so I never had much of an opportunity to learn how to ride. Just trotting. After that the horses didn't want me on so I got banned from the stables. Teachers were 'fraid I'd get bucked off and break my neck. Almost happened once." |
