The problem is everyone is so caught up in their own issues that they become completely desensitized to how others feel. They start putting others down because it makes them feel powerful and important. Everyone seriously needs to wake up and smell the coffee, they have to realize that life isn't all sunshine and butterflies. But that doesn't mean they can put other people down. Yeah I delt with some pretty tough crap in my life but you don't see me going around bitting everyones head off.

I really like Saphira. I love the book but hate the movie. They changed ALOT of things around and cut out a whole bunch. It felt like I was in the theater for 20min. It didn't feel like an hour. It was just a cheap way to help them make money, there was no passion put into the making of this movie. It's like they skimmed through the book and randomly chose the events of the movie and what order they'd appear in.

TRAPPED IN DARKNESS

as night takes hold,
I feel no sense of light or day,
it is to the darkness I have been sold,
I'll always be lonely no matter what you say.

I am unwanted and depressed,
dieing of heartache,
I am hated and stressed,
bleeding and leaving a stream of red in my wake.

I've been hurt and used,
having been tossed aside I have reached this conclusion,
my pain can never be soothed,
I will be forever trapped inside this confusion.

empty and friendless,
my world is completely black,
this reckless death is endless,
it is in my social skills that I lack.

I live a worthless life,
writing poems and stories I waste my time,
inside I bleed because depression cuts like a knife,
I talk so little I feel just like a mime.

I only have enemies,
I am heartbroken and useless,
for this anguish there are no remedies,
everyone seems so clueless.

If I held my breath I'd turn purple or blue,
but they could care less,
then I think if only they knew,
My attempts are periless.

This poem describes what the first few years of dealing with depression were like for me.
