Suddenly he heard a beep from inside his coat, looks like something was approaching him fast. He slowed down for a few seconds holding his hand out towards whatever was coming and then ran at top speed again, a lump of metal on the ground was all that remained of the bolt.

He arrived a few moments later, arrived at a warzone. Buildings were burning people were trying to get away alive while others who hadnt tried hard enough were lying dead on the ground. An assortement of nighthunters were running around cutting down people and defending the one behind this all a large dark skinned man wearing some kind of runic armor.

As he looked upon the bodies of the dead his bracelets and chocker started to disintigrate and his emotionless face turned into a face full of hate and anger.

He put the magus eye back in his bag and pulled his hood a bit more over his head. "Yup definatley magic, i better go check this out." He pulled out another bottle this time with a yellow liquid inside, he made sure to drink only a few drops after all he wouldnt want anyone to see him racing across town at breakneck speeds. He felt the familiar tingling sensation in his legs almost instantaniousley and took of in the direction of the fires. Even with his enhanced speed it would take a few minutes to get there.

Great she had probably ran off to get her bountyhunter family. He picked up his coat and put it on making his way out of the dead end alley and into the busy street. He had to get out of there fast, guess it was gonna be another restless night in a cave. But when he got to the gate he was in for surprise. The city was already under lockdown! Had they been able to warn the city guard that fast? No that couldnt be right he came here straight away he was still thinking about what he should do when he heard it, the sound of screams and explosions, the sound of terror.

As soon as Lucien was out of sight he threw of his coat and got two small bottles out of his bag one filled with a brown liquid and one filled with a golden liquid. He took a big gulp from both and put them away again. "Come on then whenever you're ready." The Nighthunters leapt at him trying to sink claws and teeth into his body but his skin had become as hard as steel. He slammed 2 of them against the wall and put his hand around the neck of the one on his left arm. "Burn you stinking monster." Suddenly his hand was engulfed in flames and as the creature tried to get out of the stranglehold the flames spread across its body untill nothing was left. A few minutes later he was holding the last nighthunter, standing in the charred remains of the rest of them. As he was about to put an end to its misserable life he heard something, it was only a whisper but he heard it. "impossible." He looked up looking Lucien straight in the eye still with the same emotionless look on his face.

He moved infront of her pulling out his handgun from the bag. "Run away and dont look back." He opened fire at the close ones hitting them in the head. The ones in the back pounced at him trying to hit him with their razorsharp arms but right before they hit him he ducked under them putting away the gun and drawing the kamas, with two quick slices their heads came clean off. The few that were left approached him carefully but were dealt with as swiftly as the rest. But the thing with nighthunters is that they have the annoying tendancy to keep getting back up untill you burn their bodies and these were no exception. He looked at Lucien with his good eye, his face completely emotionless. "I said run."

"I'm sorry miss but i must take my leave now." He pulled himself free from Lucien's grip and walked away in the other direction. Great the daughter of a bountyhunter could this night turn out any worse? A low buzzing sound went off from inside his bag he pulled out a small shard of green glass set into a piece of black stone a white arrow appeared on the glass and pointed towards the south. "What was i thinking off course it could."

"I'm Edward, but you can call me Ed everyone does." It looked like she wasnt with the bountyhunters. Maybe this night wasnt gonna be that bad after all. He pointed the eye towards the table next to them, looked like those guys were busy getting drunk anyway. "You sure its safe to be out this late? I've heard there were night hunters around these parts."

the stranger pulled the hood down a bit more trying to find out who had sat down at his table without making eye contact. "Whats it to you?" He pulled a small eyeball out of his bag hiding it in his palm. It was a magus eye in the hands of a mage it was an invaluable reconaisance tool. He kept his hand under the table and pointed the eye upwards, it looked like a regular girl although she was dressed in a skimpier outfit than most girls wore. Was she a distraction?

The stranger watched the other patrons as he chewed on the dry piece of bread the waitress had brought him, most of them were too drunk to notice anything that was going on while others were too focused on their hand of cards to care. He pulled his hood down a little more as a few men sat down at the table next to him. Two of them had weapons hanging from their belt while the other one had his weapon concealed in his jacket. Probably bountyhunters but were they here to drink or was it something else?

Night had fallen on the small town of Alaston as a stranger approached the gates. He rang the small bell and was answered by the gruff voice of one of the city guards, a quick conversation and a small exchange of cash later the stranger was walking around in the city looking for an inn to rest. He found one rather fast a small inn called "the waterhole" he entered and sat down at one of the dim lighted tables.
