Ahlys just looked at each of the little children and turned towards David. "Okay lets assume for a second that this isnt a prank. I must have missed quite a bit." Raine sighed before sitting down. "Yeah you could say that. The world like you knew it is gone Ahlys. This place is one of the few underground bases were things are still relatively safe. The rest of the world has become one great battlefield between the retributioners and the tek-mages."

Raine was about to continue when a message blared over the intercom. "Commander Thane has just sent his IFF signal, He will be arriving in hangar 3 along with the other trailblazers." Raine got up and took Len's hand. "Lets go see if uncle Thane brought you kids something shall we?" Raine walked out of the room followed by a bunch of cheering children. Ahlys turned towards David and eyed him intently. "Seems like you've grown up since the last time i saw you. Good then i wont mind you briefing me on the rest that much."

((ooc: FYI the trailblazers are a group of mages and former bounty hunters that occasionally go out to scavenge food and other supplies and the occasional survivor that wants to join. They're usually away for a few weeks up to a few months. This time they've been gone 2 months.))

"What do you mean i've been asleep for the past 7 years?" Ahlys was pacing through the room again trying to take in what David just told her. She stopped for a moment and looked around the room again, she hurried over to the mirror and looked at her own reflection. "Right ive been asleep for 7 years and i look exactly the same? If you pull a prank do it properly." David was about to say something back but was cut off by raine who had just entered the room, followed closely by a posse of children. "Well time has been good to you Ahlys, unlike some of us."

Raine slowly put his wrench down and took Tom by the hand. "Lets go see what happened with Dion." He walked towards the Med bay with the small child walking next to him. Luckily the doctor was a weaver, a mage who could mend flesh and knit bones at will. If it wasnt for him the children would all be sitting in sick beds 24/7

"What happened doc? Is Dion okay?" Raine looked at Dion's knee which was still a slight shade of purple. "Oh the little rascal will be ok in no time. You should go see Ahlys though she finally woke up."

Ahlys looked around as the doctor took her temperature and blood pressure. Thoughts were racing around in her head, most of them were variants of "Where the ******** am i?"
The doctor put his tools away and nodded at David. "Everything seems fine, tell me if anything weird should happen though." David nodded silently and waited for the doctor to leave before getting up from his chair. "Well uhm.. are you hungry?" Ahlys got up from the table and paced around for a bit. "Where am i?" David sat down on the chair again and sighed. "A beter question would be when." Ahlys looked at him quizingly before responding. "Ok i'll bite when am i?"

Raine was busy fastening a few bolts on one of the thermal plates of the cruiser, just like any job that had once only cost him a few minutes it was taking forever. Just about anything in the base had been build by Marlian and him and working on them always brought up that one painfull memory. He was just about to put his wrench down when he heard a loud yell from the Med bay. "WHAT?!"

Ahlys closed her eyes again and thought about all the stuff that had happened lately. She had only been thinking for a few minutes when she noticed that everything had gone silent, there was not one single sound to be heard. "Whats going on?" Ahlys tried to open her eyes but it seemed like they were glued together. "What the? I'm not sleeping am i? No that cant be it. I'm not DEAD am i?" Thoughts raced trough her head at the speed of light untill her eyes suddenly shot open.

She looked around and saw that she was in a small room that was empty save for the bed she was lying on and the chair next to the bed. And of course the man sitting on the chair. "Whuzza? Where am i? Who are you?" She took a good look at him and noticed that he looked familiar somehow. "David?!" She gawked at the man sitting next to her on the chair, he looked a lot like david only older and more mature looking. "Hey doc! Get in here she's awake!"

Ahlys sat on the bed giggling at the two full grown men fighting. "You know it's really no fair that he doesnt get to hit on a seventeen year old while you've been busy hitting on a sixteen year old for the last few days." Ahlys yawned and let her fall back on the bed. "Not to mention leering like a madman."

Ahlys lay on the bed as the two men got thrown out of the bathroom trying to remember what happened before she found herself buttnaked inside a testtube. "Why is my whole life one big gap?" She sighed and closed her eyes.

Raine stood his ground glaring at David. "A feeble threat Lucien. But as long as your brother doesnt go insane again i wont do anything to him." Everything suddenly went dark and before she knew it Ahlys was back in her body sitting on Luciens bed. "Aw i wanted to see how it ended." She rocked back and forth on the bed. "Oh well at least ill see how it starts.
