Would there happen to be a time lapse between the characters or are you trying our different styles? I personally really like the last one best! I think if you're working on prototypes, to go with that one as far as body structure is concerned. But they're all still pretty cool. Also, I agree with the guy having no chest.

Chests on men are sexy! heart

help me out?

you know I just realized there IS a time lapse! haha! I did that without thinking
and as I said the guy is actually built like that, he is extreamly skinny and tall
im not kidding you lol (I drew these from real people)

but I agree a chest on a man is quite sexy lol xd

No problem. I just learned how to do 8 head figures this year in school and it really helps you understand the anatomy and proportions of the body. Applying it to a cartoon is cake. Good luck drawing~

I shall keep that in mind thanks again =^._.^=

WTF, we have the same name. Are you Asian or did your parents spell it with a k just because?

On the art, you could use some proportion work. Since they're stylized on purpose it's okay to have cartooney features, but all figures follow a set of proportions. Start with an egg for a head, another egg for a ribcage and a box for hips. If you'd like a redline, I can provide one.

lol nope I'm german actually my name is the germanic way of spelling Erica...oooor that's what my mom told me...

and go right ahead, id love one ^^
as I said im still playing with this style so advice is always welcome

Lol me too~
My mom was going to spell it Erica but my dad liked k better. She said it's German, but it also happens to be Japanese. My boyfriend Kazuma actually got to help me pick the kanji for it when he wrote my name out. I remember all these Asian girls kept asking me what my real name was because they thought I was using a nickname XD

Okay, I'll give you a redline. Let me just tinker with PS for a second...

lol that's cool I can see how it could be Japanese as well

and okay I wait..... :3

Well, since it's a cartoon I have to disagree with that theory. Although the style could use a bit more developing, it doesn't seem to need to have realistic proportions.

Alright, the guy needs to have his chest coming out a little farther, he looks like a complete twig, even by the style's standard's. xd His head also needs to come back a little more... work on the head. XD

Other than that, I really like this style, keep it up! 3nodding

well I would bring out his chest more BUT you see, the real life Billy...IS a stick tall and skinny...that's really what he looks like lol
tust me on this

and thank you smile

They're cute. I like your new style, it's very clean and it has that cartoony sort of "sparkle." The only thing with which I take issue is the jaw/chin. It seems too sharply sloped.

Yeah I can see that
Thank you 3nodding
My arts!! A healthy way to vent, tell me what you think! Go to post 19 Picture Post Wed Apr 01, 2009 3:36 am
wow these are great!
I can really see a lot of what you were feeling, art is a great way for you to vent 3nodding I really like the first one, a lot.
And as for keeping them, you should allways hold on to your art in my opinion. but that's just me smile

I'm playing with a new style right now :3
I'm still kinda tweaking it some...
I colored them using Live Paint in Illustrator

This is me...and it's kinda scary how much it really looks like me and I actually have that outfit too haha and give that face to people a lot

This is my friend Billy I made it for him as a gift (and that is one of the best guitars I've drawn ever)

This is a girl that asked me to draw her (I don’t really know her that well lol) but I liked how it turned out
I am proud...constructive criticism welcome Go to post 3 Picture Post Wed Sep 10, 2008 6:53 am
