These are some of my personal sayings from DMing. Most said only when I'm pissed off.



- How should I kill you this time?
- there's an a** is in the middle of the room.
- A dragon falls out of nowhere and eats you. Happy?
- There's 20 fire giants in front of you. Wait, your level 3? Ok, my bad. There's 17 fire giants in front of you....
(After 3-4 natural 1's on an attack roll.)
- Forget it, you hack your self in the face and die.
AND MY MOST USED AND ALL TIME FAVORITE. (so much so it's now a inside joke.)
- Shut up. God smites you.

While yes there is the ability to be evil and corrupt in the game. tThat doesn't make the game evil. Being evil is a choice. On that point my argument is this. There are many games that allow you to be good or evil. Fable being one that comes to mind first. You can evil as hell in that, but I don't hear people calling that satanic. The reason I believe that some think DnD is evil is because is much more in depth than most other things. There are people that are just to mentaly messed up that they can't tell the diffrence between reality and game, there are those who Don't understand it's just a game. Those people should be the one restricted from playing. You shouldn't play the game. The MMORPG World of Warcraft, or WoW as I earlier called it, has had MANY cases of people becoming to involved in the game and mixing it with real life. I've many stories. Like the kid who believed he would only lose a few HP from droping from a 5 storie building. One storie had one kid who became so engrossed in it that he didn't eat, instead he kept clicking the food in the game but as most can figure out, that didn't feed him and he died of starvation. These are examples of those who shouldn't play DnD. As for why they don't have Abrahamic religions in it is, and this is only a theory that hasn't been to well tought through , is because if they did it would, to some , it would cease to be an escape from reality, in other word it would no longer be a fantasy and be to real. There by removing soe of the appeal. If this is what the creators are thinking this would make a lot of sence. It could also be they just didn't feel ike making it because it would cause more controversy, or mabye their just to lasy. I have no true facts about any of that.

Isn't WoW based on DnD rules.

had a pally that was lvl 67 but he was hardcore and died.

Some say DnD is evil. I say those who go out and kill their parents are just reguler pychos and would have gotten around to it later. I play DnD on a reguler basis and I'm not messed up. It's a creative outlet for me and it sure as hell helps my math. Any thoughts?
