Big news! After extensive tweaking and wiggling, we're just about ready to release our revamped header and brand-new site footer. Not only will they look cool and make navigating the site easier, they'll also serve as the foundation for some cool features we'd like to build in the future.

We're really excited about the new updates, and we want to thank all the members who contributed tons of feedback to help us make the header and footer as useful as possible-- in fact, this is our third total revamp of the concept, based on your great suggestions. We hope you dig it!

Some key features:

• The footer is collapsible, so it won't get in your way when you're not using it.
  
  
• You can add customizable quick links to the footer to get you to your favorite stuff instantly-- you can even use these when the footer is collapsed.
  
  
• By popular demand, notifications (for friend requests, PMs, etc.) will stay in the header. We've also kept the logo the same-- no black box, as in previous versions.
  
  
• Lovely new header backgrounds, with footer backgrounds to match.
  
  
• If you're feeling old-fashioned, you can also disable the footer completely-- we encourage you to give it a try, though!

Please note: when we release the new header and footer, we'll roll out features gradually. When it first goes out, the "edit links" function and the "online friends" section may be temporarily disabled to avoid straining the site too hard all at once.

Say, here's something rad: you can save your outfits now. You guys have been requesting this feature for forever and a half, and we've finally run out of lame excuses and made it a reality.



Here's how it works:

• Visit the "My Avatar" screen and click the "Outfits" drawer under your inventory.
  
  
• To save your current avatar, type in a name for it and hit "Save."
  
  
• To equip an outfit, just click on it. This won't automatically save your avatar, so remember to click the "Save" button on the top left.

There are a couple of additional things to keep in mind when you're working with saved outfits:

• Saved outfit thumbnails show your base avatar model, eyes, and hair at the time you saved the outfit, but equipping the outfit won't actually change any of those base characteristics. It will only change items like clothing, wigs and equippable skins.
  
  
• If you no longer own an item in a saved outfit or if the item has evolved, it'll still show up in the thumbnail, but you won't be able to equip it.
