"Not a great way to start..."

I had intended on showing off my wings now that I had gotten them back but it just wasn't meant to be. I was downed by Sprite before I had a chance to do anything other than stretch. Next time...

"Thanks. Here we go..."

I would have fought but after watching Emma torch the poor girl I couldn't help but feel sorry for her. As she fell to the ground I caught her and carried her to the medical ward. She could fight again later.

TNP: "Alright, let's rock this."

I think Emma may have been a bit traumatized by whatever it was that she had seen in Question's mind. What was worse was that the force of it transferred to my mind just because I was nearby.

I nearly died then and there.

((Suicide charge is go!))

Even I could feel the power that was hiding behind Vivi. He threw cards at me and I felt like I had been hit by a flying wall as they caught me by the arms and legs and pulled me into the wall behind me. I hit my head and saw stars exploding in front of me. Dazed I watched Vivi come closer, twirling a card between his fingers as he approached. He slipped the card over my mouth and sealed it, leaving me mute. Then he placed another one over my nose and sealed that one too. I struggled harder for a moment until asphyxiation took me and I passed out.

"Y'ain't got your library to protect you this time, woman."

Ivan had taken over just for this one occasion. He wanted nothing more than to finally give Emma what he felt she deserved. He walked over to the fallen elf and raised Zach's hand, covering it in dark energy like a blade.

"Been waiting a looong time for this," Ivan's voice came clear through Zach's mouth. He brought down the dark blade on Emma without a second's hesitation.

"I expect nothing less."

The German may have thought he was going to put up a fight but I think he was underestimating me. I was quicker than he was. And stronger. I leapt high into the air and brought my heel down onto his shoulder, bringing him to the ground in one fell blow.

TNP: "Alright, bring it on!"

"Here we go, Scribbles~"

I was still very grateful to the Scribbler, but it was time to get serious. I readied myself with an offensive stance that was very close to the ground. The moment I saw her sketching away I dashed in to try and disrupt the drawing. What I didn't expect is the ground to suddenly spike up beneath me and spear through my arms and legs, pinning me in place with pain. She dispelled the spikes and I fell to bleed on the ground.

"Nice move... ow..."

"Scribbles!"

I ran toward Scribbler and lifted her off the ground in a hug. I thanked her over and over for everything that she had done for me in the past few days.

"You're fantastic," I told her again and again. "Really, I mean it. Thanks a lot for everything."

I gave her the win then and there. She deserved it.

"Easy now, Alnette."

The poor woman was in hysterics when I approached her. She lashed out violently when I tried to talk her back to being calm. In a quick movement I got behind her and locked her limbs with my own, forcing her to stop her rampage until she calmed down.

TNP: "This can't possibly end well..."
