Ivan had seen Scribbler's destruction and couldn't help but laugh. He walked away from the debris, not realizing that she was being revived by the Dome itself. He lost the match by default.

"Chirp!"

I fluttered around as a finch for a minute, able to adapt to the form pretty readily. I didn't mind. I guess I should have seen it coming, being overconfident and all. Ivan, however, was raging and furious. The moment the spell faded and we transformed back he took over completely and shut me out with a deadlock I hadn't seen in some time. I watched him summon two spears made of pure darkness and strike Emma from behind, declaring this his well-deserved vengeance. I struggled to take back my body but Ivan's bizarre fury was too much.

TNP: "All right! This is more like it. Let's go!"

"I don't plan to hold back."

While I may have not been intending to hold back, Ivan was somewhere else in thought. His and my sync were so messed up that I couldn't summon phoenix fire, Ivan's darkness, or even the myriad of weapons I had at my disposal. My speed was shot to hell and my strength was little more impressive than a nine-year-old girl.

All-in-all it was a poor fight.

"Oh, hello."

This was not how it was supposed to go. I enjoyed beating Zach quite a bit, and when I lunged at him, I expected the fight to end quickly.

It ended quickly, all right. Phoenix fire burns... A lot, and unlike regular fire, dark magic won't stifle it. I soon found myself lying on the Battledome floor, severely burned and in a lot of pain.

@ Next poster - "Heh heh... hello?"

After my last battle with Alnette, which was not televised due to excessive violence, gore, nudity, scenes involving a tractor, puppy-kicking, hypothermia, sugar, more nudity, and fire, I thought that my sound defeat could only mean that I was soon due for a victory.

I was quite wrong. Turns out that there is no karma in terms of war, as the sword sticking out of my stomach will gladly tell you.

"Yeah... you'd think that, wouldn't you?"

This battle will not be televised due to excessive violence, gore, nudity, scenes involving a tractor, puppy-kicking, hypothermia, sugar, more nudity, and fire.

TNP: "This is probably gonna huuuuurt..."

"Fine, you take her then." ((Suicide rush is go!)) ((Oooooor not.))

I had expected to fight Eris again, and secretly wanted to, but instead I watched as she felled the German soldier.

"Poor guy," I sighed and moved closer. He was just barely hanging on. I could help him. I plucked a feather from my wing and dropped it over his chest. The feather burst into flames and the bullet wounds sealed themselves. Once he had revived the soldier gasped and sat up suddenly, drawing his pistol and firing wildly at me. I was shot a couple of times and took to the skies, fleeing as fast as I could.

"Scribbles."

At first I don't think she quite recognized me, but it didn't take long for her to put two and two together once she saw my wings. I smiled and invited her for drinks and cards at the Waning Vestal. It was a pretty fun time that ended with me having about $2000 of Scribbler's fake money.

"Fine by me."

I flared my wings out behind me and focused all my attention to firing them up. My wings blazed with phoenix fire and superheated the area around me. He revved up his fire as well and it became a battle of heat. I wasn't going to give up so easily, especially not now that I had just gotten my body back. Unfortunately I couldn't quite stand up to the King and I backed down.

"Dammit..."
