‘‘ L continued to watch Light out of the corner of his eye, even as he turned his head forward again. He was waiting for some kind of reaction to the tease (or compliment, whatever the other wanted to view it as) from Light. L liked to try and test people sometimes, by saying things that could be misconstrued as something else or that were just plain blunt and strange just to see what sort of reaction it would elicit from whomever he was having a conversation with.
He was thoroughly disappointed when Light seemed to just skip over the comment as if it hadn’t even reached his ears.
Lower lip jutting out slightly, L sulked quietly to himself. They continued to walk in silence. L raised one of his hands to hold on to the stick of his lollipop, which he extracted from his mouth and then proceeded to lick as if it were an ice cream cone.
When they reached the large indoor gym, L nodded his head in agreement to Light’s statement. They had arrived several seconds ahead of when L predicted they would. Opening the door, L entered the gymnasium. There was a large room where several students were mingling (none of whom L bothered to acknowledge) followed by a slightly narrow hallway that led to the changing rooms and the main part of the gym.
It seemed as though they were earlier than everyone else, for when L walked into the boy’s locker room he found it practically empty.
“Are we supposed to get the uniforms from the coach?" he wondered aloud. ’’

‘‘ Only after he felt the stem of the lollipop slide past his fingers did L lower his hand back down to his side. Immediately the appendage buried itself within his pants pocket, L continuing to walk with Light in his typical slouched fashion, his head tilted upwards and to the side in order to look at the other boy.
The corners of his lips were tilted upwards in the smallest of smiles. For L, offering something as precious as candy was as good as offering his heart on a platter (well, maybe not that extreme... though L did love his sweets very much, and very rarely did he ever have the desire to share them with anyone; but this was only a lollipop, which L couldn’t really say he loved. If it had been a slice of cake, on the other hand....)
There was a smile on Light’s face as well, one that L had more difficulty discerning whether or not was fake.
“Light-kun is most welcome.” His voice was slightly muffled around the lollipop in his mouth.
L’s gaze was directed to the other again as Light ran a hand through his hair. In the few years that L had known Light, he’d never seen the boy look disheveled. Light was always perfectly dressed with his hair neatly combed – very much unlike L. So to see the messy state of the other’s hair was a bit of a surprise.
“Light-kun’s hair looks very nice today,” he decided to tease. “And you are probably correct in assuming that... since P.E. is a mandatory class, they probably group all the first years together for it. And if not... well, you will know if your name isn’t called when they take attendance.” ’’

K I posted again. ^^ Didn't really know what to have L do aside from ask where Light's going and give him a love offering.
I'm pretty sure everyone is going to PE ^^
Aw, thanks!! =)
I don't think the blonde hair suites me very much but... oh wells. XD She's the only character I can really pull off at least semi-accurately.
Imma watch you on devart, kk? ^_^

‘‘ It really wasn’t something Beyond would usually say, because typically he would either walk to class alone or by himself. The fact that he was seeking company of people other than his dark-haired obsession was certainly out of character for him. But, as he’d been thinking before, so long as he was able to catch up with L at Phys. Ed. it would all be all right.
A hot blush spread across his cheeks as he found himself once again in Misa’s arms, being hugged by her tightly. Beyond licked his lips, averting his gaze to the ceiling. “Y-yeah, well... he mumbled something incoherently under his breath, not even knowing himself what he’d been trying to say. “Let’s go. I don’t want to be late for another glass.”

L caught up to Light easily enough, stuffing his hands in his pockets and walking alongside of him as if he belonged there. His left hand fiddled around in the pocket of his jeans for a second or so before emerging holding two small lollipops, one red and one blue. He unwrapped the red one gingerly and then popped it in his mouth. The blue lollipop he offered over to the brown-haired boy.
“Would you like some candy?” he asked. “Its blueberry flavored. I also have lemon flavored in my right pocket, if Light-kun likes that better.” Continuing to hold the lollipop out to Light, he asked, “Where is Light-kun heading next? I have P.E.” ’’

Xiren Hypnotique Not So Common Cold I'm watching the movie right now...
And I totally don't get it D: I didnt get it at first either, it took me a while. Then it all came together.
It's basically just L fanservice. 8D
... I love the part when L's working on all those cases right after Watari's death, and he speaks in Italian and then French. I was like -explods with happiness- cause Ken'ichi speaking Italian is just hawtttt
I agree, it is just fanservice.. But Matsuken is so worth watcing heart
I thought the movie was adorable, I cried. It was so weird hearing him speak english. I cried too. D': The end was so sweet/sad!!
Lol I giggled whenever he spoke English. X3 I honestly thought he spoke Italian and French better than he did English lol

lol it's okay.
I really don't see what the big deal is if someone posts OOC in the main thread.. so long as they say they're OOC.
(though I guess since I'm not the thread creator it doesn't matter that I feel that way. XPP )
