lol, what I have is far better than the wireless in coffee shops, but its good on trips, when your camping, and going to people's houses that don't have internet or dial-up Why would you take your laptop camping? Why go camping at all?

Why? It's the only cable provider in the area (and large swathes of Australia) and Telstra aren't terrible.
