the greatest wizard What items are you trying to sell? I can't buy anything unless i know what the items are you are auctioning off. Exactly like the above post says. You have to say what you're selling. For all I know, you'll sell me 130 items that I don't care for or aren't worth anything. So what are they? I'd like a list. |

For the recommended items section a more worthwhile thing then a collapsible/closable tab would be to go into your profile settings and have an option saying: (Allow Gaia to recommend items? Yes/No)
With that people who don't want to see it, never have to know it's there and won't have to worry about closing it over and over again whenever they go to reequip their avi. |

Valentine Nero Deception But what doesn't need fixing is adding that "recommended items" box that will soon be below your inventory. People are soon to start seeing a half page worth of items they don't care for, and it's gonna be forced into their faces. According to the developer thread, one of the top requests is to make the "recommended items" box optional (possibly collapsible the way the Forum Pulse feature is?). I'd like to think that "top requests" will actually make it to reality. As long as I could make that recommended items box not appear at all for my page, I'd be content with the new layout. I'd long for the classic one still, but would learn to deal with it for the most part since it was only graphical changes. But for that recommended box, even collapsable wouldn't fully solve it. A more worthwhile thing would be to go into your profile settings and have an option saying: (Allow Gaia to recommend items? Yes/No) |

Dreaming Artist I don't think they should change it!! I have been on gaia since 04 and out of everything they have and have not changed the 'my avatar' has been one of the few that has for the most part been left alone. I do not like this new change. I like the classic look that we have now, what we have ALWAYS had.. why change it know?! There isn't anything wrong with it... I prefer the classic look too. The dressing room backround is probly unavoidable though, sadly. |

InfinitysDaughter Kaila Kallenime ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [_.Kaila._] is on a quest She needs your help getting a Fremere's Guard! Donations are loved. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Gaia seems to enjoy "fixing" things that aren't broken and ticking off users with all these changes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you're questing, stop by Wishmaker Workshop Charity Do it now! We'll be glad to help. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ...Since when did the dress up page NOT need fixing? The avi system has needed fixing since 05. I'm GLAD they are finally fixing it. Clicking tabs and having to reload the page is fine to fix, so that it's all on the same page. Faster equipping is a needed addition (even if i found it fine how it was). But what doesn't need fixing is adding that "recommended items" box that will soon be below your inventory. People are soon to start seeing a half page worth of items they don't care for, and it's gonna be forced into their faces. |

just_josh4444 Nero Deception I strongly dislike the "dressing room" styled backround behind the avi and the "recommended items part" The dressingroom is too girly/kidish looking. Also I don't need an AI recommending items I'm not interested in. I imagine I'm gonna be seeing ALOT of Punk Starter Shirts in the future down there if they actually go through with it. And knowing that gaia only pretends to listen to their users, makes me expect the changes to be final. Why not give users the option of using the old or new avi equip screen? People who like it are happy, and people who dislike it are happy. As much as I hate myspace, giving the option of using the classic or new homepage layout is the one thing they did right. Gaia can benefit from that knowledge. There's no need to fix what isn't broken, and this isn't broken, so by all means keep the old layout/settings and just make the new layout optional. Go for it. If it helps it get heard, it's worth doing. |
