what is your top 5 anime and why??? Go to post 73 Recycle Bin Wed Oct 01, 2008 3:04 am
1. FullMetal Alchemist (Awesome concept, really deep characters, solid story line at least until the end, and totally awesome machinery!)

2. Naruto (Yes, I'm a Narutard but at least I admit it. I like the idea of an evil organization in anything, especially when they're all amazing and look cool. Plus it makes for GREAT parodies!)

3. Hellsing (Oh come on, it's ALUCARD! What's not to love about Alucard and the random acts of violence and gore!)

4. Saiyuki (Okay, English dubbing was worth poo, but it's amazing anyways. And it has Gojyo. I do loves me some Gojyo, oh yes I do. heart )

5. Gah, it's a tie between Death Note and Ouran Host Club. (Two completely different things, but I'm really eclectic when it comes to anime. I like a little of everything. I could have put things like Elfen Lied, Outlaw Star, and Trigun here too. ;_ wink

Now if you counted anime MOVIES, I could make an entirely new list. XD

Unseen Daydream
heehee of course FMA is great the way it is but i still don't like the way that the series ended! i mean the movie was horrible (no horrible as in bad I mean horrible as in I hated the way it ended!) it really make me mad how they did that (is trying not to give out spoliers)

Ugh, I didn't like the movie either. It could have been so much better.
But it was like, Edward's dad shows up and is like, "Guess what son? I'm from an alternate universe! Hurray!" And they all get sucked into pre-WWII Europe. I don't get that.
It would have been much cooler if it ended different. Personally, I would have liked all of the Homunculi to live, but that's just me.

Woo, I just noticed I put up spoilers. XD

Yeah, but it's kinda ridiculous. I mean, FMA was basically perfect anyways.

The Time machine item and the recent item release was a bunch of cyber-punk and steam-punk items.

The Time Machine was a pretty small item for an MC, though, and certainly can't cover all our entire steam-punk needs with that one item alone! ;o; </3

Amen to that.
Needs more brass. -nods-

Yes, lovely Gaia creators, I'm at a lack of stuff.
I didn't think it would happen, but my creativity has run out for the moment. I'm stuck with a wench skirt, a corset, a fancy fan, and a whole lot of Picolitrosso's Urn stuff. However, you guys did a fine job with the Brass Rave Goggles and such, but I think some Steampunk-related items would do a whole lot of good.
Now what in the name of all things good and wonderful can come from steampunk? Easy! Make it more pirate-y, or Victorian, or steamy at least. I wouldn't mind having a pipe stick out of my head or something. I just don't want people going 'OMG R U A PIRATE?' and not realizing the steampunkity goodness I've tried to create for my cute little avatar. pirate

And hey, the cyberpunk people might want some stuff too. I lack mentioning of them since some of the Biohazard stuff came out, but yet again, PIPES. COLORFUL. PVC-LOOKING. PIPES.
And thanks to some of my dear friends on Gaia, I'm not alone in my need for all things XXXX-punk.
Anyone else think this is a fine idea?

Silence at Dream's End - Steampunkity Goodness Go to post 0 Promotions Sun Sep 14, 2008 4:08 am
So I wrote the first chapter of my first steampunk story, a literary feat I have been attempting to conquer for Lord-knows-how-long. It definitely has room for improvement and I would be absolutely delighted if you lovely people could read & review. I love compliments (I'm only human) but I really would like constructive criticism. Care to take a look?

Thank you very much!
