I tend to give them a little gold (since I have trouble giving them a flat out "NO" sweatdrop ), or at the very least, some tips on how to earn gold (i.e. Booty Grab, posting, Charity/Quests forum). I've only had one person ask me for something (an aquarium lucky chest I was selling via the mp), and it boiled down to me giving him a little gold along with suggestions on how to earn the rest. sweatdrop

Wasn't there already a blank space on the right on the old landing page? confused Maybe it's just more noticeable in the new one.

I tend to get used to site changes if they rub me the wrong way (even if I don't WANT to get used to it and I'm in the "CHANGE IT BACK [SITENAME]! scream " mood--see Facebook). I actually like the newer landing page better than the old one. :3

I like it! heart It has a more organized feel, while at the same time, being colorful. whee

(The...treasure booty, not the other booty... redface Ok, maybe it wouldn't hurt to protect the other booty too. sweatdrop )

I kinda like it. Not too fond of how the cyan background looks speckled though. It will definitely take some time to get used to.

I just hope they update the header background, if they're trying to bring back "old Gaia". D: Or at least come up with something a little brighter, like the Easter header and summer header.

eek I think I might be on someone's ignore list. About a couple months ago, I clicked into this thread where I noticed that the Post Reply button was faded as if it had been locked. I knew it wasn't locked (the title in the thread listing in the forum home didn't have a lock on it). I thought it was a little strange, but thought nothing of it.

Then just a few days ago, someone in the GCD asked how one would know if they were being ignore listed. Another person posted a screenshot, where the Post Reply button was faded. D:

It actually kind of bothered me for a while. I was worried I had done/said something obnoxious that set them off (I've said...some similar things on the forums or maybe zOMG redface ). I also know that some Gaians tend get a little ignore list happy will ignore anyone who doesn't agree with them, has a non-matching avatar, has a username they don't like, wears _____ items (cash shop, MTV, sponsor, or just cheap commons), is "too old". etc. I'm actually hoping it's the latter. sweatdrop I would feel really bad if I had done/said something I shouldn't have to where someone wanted to ignore me. Otherwise I can just laugh it off and go "silly people". XP

As for me, my own ignore list is blank. I would only ignore someone if they were constantly harassing me and it was taking some time for a mod to deal with them.

I've been using Noellium online everywhere for about three years now.

Noelle = pet chameleon (is now in chameleon heaven emo )
-um = some silly suffix I liked to tack onto our pets' names back in the day for affection (and yup, Noelle was one of them)

So when I joined Gaia last year, I figured it was only natural I use my current alias. whee

I don't mind the change. It will take some time getting used to, but I don't actually see it hindering me as I navigate around the site (other than maybe having to learn the new navigation).

I actually like how they're going using pictures for the submenu items. I don't see it as a "so stupid, we need pictures" sort of thing, but it just makes more interesting (less like just a list of links). :3
