Akhenaton of man largo round those things you listed dont have a damn thing to do with socialism, those are just basic left wing ideaology socialism has to do with government control and taking (emphasis on the take) resources from one group of people and share it with another because it is beneficial to society as a whole, in socialism your individual freedoms and self worth are curtailed for the "benefit" of the larger group Those have nothing to do with left wing ideologies. Most of those are right wing or moderate ideologies to begin with. You also got the definition of socialism wrong as well. Socialism is where the government or state control an organization like the military. And by the way, the constitution doesn't protect businesses from government control. 1. That's not socialism. 2. The government already controls the military. Next! |

Herald of Lies ratrapid I'm looking at the perception that athiests are out to disprove god and that there's a reason for them not to believe in god, rather than there being no reason for them to believe in god I think that has to do with people seeing the athiests that go around saying there is no God, people's beliefs are false, etc. I mean some tend not to act as though it's just something they dismissed, some act like it's something they absolutely hate. I agree. To me, some even act like they're downright threatened by anyone believing in God. |

Sciamancer From an evolutionary standpoint, fat would be good, as it's better than thin, because that means you could withstand a famine longer. So, it would make sense that animals would look for fat mates, right? Apparently not. Why is it that fatness is deemed ugly by a majority? Probably because most people relate obesity to unhealthiness, and most people find unhealthy people unattractive? |

Sciamancer I'm shocked to see how many sexist women there are, but hey. That's a good point. It seems perfectly fine for a woman to be a sexist feminist, but heaven forbid a MAN be sexist. Double standard fail. |

I'd say it's more of an economical reason. People just can't afford to feed an extra mouth when they're already struggling with keeping things afloat as it is.

Xx-Heartless Night-xX So...In the past few days a lot of sh** has happened. My toilet broke and everything I owned got damaged by the water that seeped in my room. My shower broke, spraying water everywhere. I got sick helping a lady with her bags and sick child And School just isn't working. -_- What do you think causes bad luck?? Karma. |

Exoth XIV 50ul84n3 it's perfectly understandable. without a goal most people fail anyways and since her religion gives her a long term goal she's able to trancend the here and now mind-set.
