Irahatam When I go shopping I get told merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, happy Easter, have a happy Halloween, have a blessed day by cashiers male and female all over town. I'm christian but I don't celebrate holidays. But then neither do I jump at anyone's throat simply because they wish me something I don't believe in. It's called tolerance for a reason. I simply tell them to have a nice day and go on. No hard feelings, no insults and peace is maintained. Yeah because I mean, how are they to know anything about your religious practices when they don't know you personally? |

BlueCollarJoe Catacular Funcakes I am offended when someone is offended enough at the term Christmas Break to petition for it to be changed to something akin to Christmahanakwanzika Holiday.. OMGLETSMAKE EEEEEVERRRYONE HAPPI! Pfft, political correctness is so past tense. Agreed. I don't celebrate the holidays, but that doesn't mean I get spun up over someone wishing me a happy holiday of some sort. I merely thank them, say I hope they have a pleasant season, and move on. Those that get spun up and offended are obviously retarded in the first place. We typically have ONE season where a good number of people aren't in full blown a*****e mode like usual, and they want to b***h about the greeting. Retards. Every damn one. Enjoy it. Because, almost like magic, the day after the holiday decorations come down, everyone reverts back to being assholes all over again. Haha. rofl I have a Jewish friend and out of respect for her, if I have to say any greeting, I'd say Happy Holidays or Happy Hanukkah. Everyone else gets a big ol MERRY CHRISTMAS. If you don't like it, fine, but at least be thankful I thought enough of you to greet you in the first place. I could have just said piss off, but no, I'm trying to spread some holiday joy here. |

I would guess that it's because by using a drone, there's no risk to American casualties. The things are remote controlled - there's even a base for Predators in Nevada, near Las Vegas. But using a human assassin would require months even years of training (as opposed to sitting at a control panel and basically playing a fancy, expensive video game) and there's that risk of losing your billion dollar, albeit human, investment.
I can't say how much money plays a part in this, because I don't know how much it costs to keep the Predator program going vs. human assassin programs. |

Why is it that the Bible description of Jesus clearly makes him sound like a person who was of African descent yet all around us are these pictures of this blonde haired blue eyed white man ? Or in some other pictures brown - haired ? Apparently, it doesn't fit the description. I'd like to know what Jesus actually looked like. It would make a happy person. (: Jesus was a Middle Eastern Jew. Akhenaton of man Catacular Funcakes Akhenaton of man largo round those things you listed dont have a damn thing to do with socialism, those are just basic left wing ideaology socialism has to do with government control and taking (emphasis on the take) resources from one group of people and share it with another because it is beneficial to society as a whole, in socialism your individual freedoms and self worth are curtailed for the "benefit" of the larger group Those have nothing to do with left wing ideologies. Most of those are right wing or moderate ideologies to begin with. You also got the definition of socialism wrong as well. Socialism is where the government or state control an organization like the military. And by the way, the constitution doesn't protect businesses from government control. 1. That's not socialism. 2. The government already controls the military. Next! Which makes it socialist, you idiot. socialism a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole. Considering how the military isn't owned and controlled by "the community as a whole", no, the government controlling one of it's own departments is not socialist. |
