You're thinking of " Le Pacte des loups" (Brotherhood of the Wolves). Awesome movie. I felt bad for the poor lion (who was caught by a noble on a hunting trip to Africa ninja ).

Kahalm The Catholic Church has almost 1.4 Billion members world wide. With that many people its impossible to account for each individuals actions. So the small group which allowed this horrible thing to happen should not be representative of the 1.4 billion other members.
This goes for any group. I hate how people treat Islam poorly and think of it evil because one small fraction of the group has extremist views which are against the Islam doctrine.
