I tried to put in the html for a pic in the theme override thing- I put the little box to custom as well, but my profile won't load with the changes, even the multimedia (which I also changed) isn't working. Please help! domokun

I really don't want my avi to be a vampire anymore- how do I change back?

Coriyons ears pricked suddenly. She thought she had heard something on the other side of the fountain. She moved cautiously- edging toward the source of the sound. Her eyes adjusted to the growing darkness quickly. She had never run into anyone at the fountain before- the total silence was one of the things that had drawn her to the place. She sensed a presence. Stopping she called out softly- "Who is here...?"

Moving quickly through the darkened streets Coriyon reminisced. Not even Arthos knew where she went each night, and she had learned to just accept it and go to bed. There was no point in arguing about it.Coriyon smiled at the thought. Arthos had done so much for her over the years- besides just giving her a home. She turned a corner and arrived at her destination. A fountain, half buried in rubble from a nearby building collapse during the Triad Sacrifice. The path to it had been blocked by newer structures in the front, and it stood hidden from the rest of the city in a secluded place on the Outskirts of Emparia. She knew it was dangerous to be this close to the outlands, but that thought thrilled her also. She loved playing it dangerous. She sighed, wishing there was water there.

Coriyon awakened slowly in the gathering darkness of the church. Night was falling. Her body expirienced a renewed vitality as the two moons, Cherion and Boriel rose into the sky. Her soul seemed to stretch momentarily. Arthos had left a simple meal beside her and had already retired to bed. Coriyon mused as she took a bite of the homemade bread. Arthos had never like the night, she always went to bed as soon as it started to darken. She had in her youth, been one of the tiny number of those humans privledged enough to even see an Ophelan. Better yet, she had come to befriend her, and that was how she had ended up saddled "with me..." Coriyon mumbled, her voice trailing off into the darkness. That Ophelan had been her mother- so they thought- and it was during the Triad sacrifice that she had turned up on Artho's doorstep. Coriyon sighed, and passed on the rest of the meal. She was hungry, but lately, her hunger had been feeling like something more. Something almost...alive...
Grabbing her boots from the corner, she slung the worn leather bag over her back, and disappeared into the night. Moving along the streets she could almost smell the falling darkness. Silence came with it too. For several years now she had been giving in to her urge to be out at night. It was- in Emparia- an urge almost abnormal.

Powers: Healing- but she pays a price for it. Water, and a strange mental ability called dream walking. She is telekinetic.
Bio:Coriyon's mother disappeared when she was just a baby, and her memories are hazy and vague since the accident. She was left in the care of an Old Human woman called Arthos, and raised by her, though she knows that Arthos bears no relation to her. It is believed that her mother was one of the Ophelan, but Coriyon herself bears no resemblece to them save for her healing ability, and the darkness of her mind further separates her from them. Thus her lineage remains unknown.

Humans: The Humans of Emparia are not Evil, only afraid. The are being preyed upon by the other creatures that have surfaced in the absence of the Triad. As part of the Triad, Humans ruled the day, and saw to the upkeep of Emparia. When the Triad Sacrifice took place, they were the most populous of the Three races- but later, as the years passed, they have begun to feel the losses...

Ophelan: The Ophelan are beautiful angel-like creatures. But their graceful forms belie terrible power. While the Triad stood, they ruled the Dawn, and saw to the Light of Emparia, a mysterious artifact or untold power recovered from the outerlands. It's whereabouts are unknown now, and as the Ophelan themselves are in hiding, it has been presumed lost forever. But is it?

Visirien: The Visrien are a dark, mysterious race. Little is known of them, and they have always inspired fear in the Humans. It is not known whether or not they ever came into contact with the Ophelan, but their power is also great. In the Triad, they ruled the Night, protecting the city of Emparia from attack, and the creatures that lurked in the outerlands. It is known that they take blood, and their Vampiric nature has many wondering what they really are....
