I'm not even sure a question like that should be allowed on this thread. Sure most all questions are valid... but you would think that would be the line not to cross.

Like, if locked away in a cell, and one person only could be your cell mate, who would it be?

Katara daughter of Water Tanyeera Hey, guys? I kinda need some advice... You know I'm in that Avatar RP now right? The one where I'm Azula's faithful minion? Well... I'm getting progressively annoyed at her... She's acting like such a spoilt haughty brat! Instead of the brilliant manipulator and tactician she's supposed to be... She's not even trying to manipulate Sha, my character, although I've already made it extremely easy for her. Sha is very skilled, very insecure, and totally devoted to the Fire Nation with a big, unhealty helping of hero-worship where Azula is concerned. How much easier can it get?! J
ust one word of praise or approval from Azula would seal Sha's allegiance at her side for life. Sha's acting a wonderful servant now, and that's all Azula seems to care about. She doesn't seem to realise that Sha actually does have a mind of her own and all this subserviant business can't last because eventually, Sha will get over her awe of her and even if she doesn't leave Azula, she will get rather... discontented. Or maybe disillusioned, I haven't quite decided yet.
So anyway, the big question is... How in heck do I let Azula know all this without making it sound as though I'm trying to take over her character?! Which, actually, I would really like to do because I think I can do a far better job of it... But Vengeful Azula was there first, so... how?! I don't want to be stuck helpless in the same roleplay with such a shallow Azula... Especially when I know she's more than that!
Walking away sounds like what I would probably do, either that or talk to the person outside of the rp and ask them to actually act the part of their character.

Well since your character is loyal to and worships Azula, you could have your character always asking her what she's going to plan next. Like, 'what are you planning now, Azula?' 'How are you going to dominate this colony?' That kind of thing. Otherwise, I'm not really sure. ^.^;;;

I RP all the time... frankly, its rare for me to chat. This, plus Zuko's, Toph's, and the Avatar Cosplay thread, are the only ones where I'm not involved in a roleplay.
I know what you mean, RPing with Zuko, Toph and every one else was always so fun. Now Zuko is never on and Toph isn't able to get on very often. I can get on for a while... T.T Waaaaah! It's happening again! Our group is splitting apart! Meru was right, our little group split apart!!!! T.T.T.T.T
I generally just go to barton town and use my own original characters to associate with other original characters... Is fun. And guilt-free.
And there there Ling... Our group may have split up for now, but everyone'll be back soon... We're all Avatards aren't we? Avatards stick together!
I love making up new characters! It's always fun to mess around with their personalities.

I mostly just type for RPs... so sometimes I'll type the whole thing over again, close as I can remember it. Other times, I shorten the tale considerably while still leaving in the important bits, and then I post again. Or if I'm really, truly sick of the whole mess, but I know I owe the RP the full, long post, I'll go away a while and come back to retype the thing once I'm feeling better.

It really depends on how important it is to get the message sent. If it's just a rant because you're bored, well, you spent ten hours typing it and don't get to send it, but you spent the time doing SOMETHING so what the hell. If it's important though, well, I retype it. -.- If I have to.

I *try* to remember to copy the post before actually pressing the 'submit' button but I often forget...
It doesn't happen often, but yeah, when it does, I usually just shorten what I was saying by a large amount. xD

In any case, it's 12 30 and I'm dead tired. xD I spent the last hour and a half inking a drawing. When I can I'll scan it.

I've spent so long on typing this insanely long post that gaia thinks I'm not logged in. Oh please let my post still be there once I've signed in, oh pleas oh please oh please...."
Sometimes when I press the back button after signing back in, my post is still there and I heave a sigh of relief. Otherwise I feel like vomiting at the thought of typing the whole thing all over again...
