Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on lately, I haven't been able to log on at the dorms. For some reason, I have really good connection, but Gaia doesn't want to work. In any case, I agree with Katara-chan!

Toph Heart of Rock Katara daughter of Water Ling child of Earth Katara daughter of Water Ling child of Earth Katara daughter of Water It wasn't a crossover. It was just like an alternate way of events. There was this girl (not Misa) in Light's class who was very smart as well who had this major crush on him but could never get him to notice her. Of course there are all these death surrounding Light as he is Kira. People who were competing with him for being at the top of the class suddenly die inexplicable deaths as well as anyone such as his teachers who get close to figuring out the truth that he is Kira. This girl ends up coming close to being ahead of him in the class and it seems like she is going to be next but it is determined to be like a computer error and this other female classmate pulls ahead of Light. There are all these rumors that he is dating this girl now and the female protagonist feels all depressed now because Light will never notice her. She whines to her older classmen friend about this whom she refers to as "Dad" and he encourages her just to straight up and tell Light how she feels. She tries to do that but slips into speaking really poor Spanish to him. Somehow he gets the message about what she is trying to say and tells her he likes her too. Then it flash forwards to years later, the girl is being attacked by some thugs hired by Light who is like the richest most powerful man in the world now when L appears with agents who save her. Yes, I have watched Death Note. I am aware how strange and out of character some of this is. They take her to this secure facility and she tells L the truth about Light, that as his wife she has learned the truth about Light as Kira and has looked the other way because she was afraid he'd use the Death Note on her. Of course her word is too incredible to be taken as truth and L needs more evidence but he believes her. Over the course of time, they fall in love, the girl discovering that L is the kind of admirable, honorable man she had thought Light to be but their relationship eventually breaks down because she can't take L's immature and downright bizarre at times behavior and his obsession with taking down Light competes with his love of her. She decides they need to go their separate ways and the moment L leaves her to work on the case, is when Light's plan to eliminate her goes into action and she ends up dead. L is devastated and all the more hellbent on destroying Light. L confronts Light, there is a fight and Light "dies". Again it is some years later and L, a much older man now, is at a college where Light under another name is working. He's still trying to destroy Light once and for all and avenge the woman he loved. Light and L have suspicions of one another's identity but they aren't sure. Finally Light decides to hell with it and sets a fire in the building. L with his allies try to escape but are met by Light's goons. That's when I woke up. I like L's bizare behavior, but whatever. That's a really strange dream, Katara-chan, it's funny how just seeing a signature like that makes you dream such vivid things. Me and my roommate (the new RA) were talking last night, since I couldn't sleep I got up and what not, and I was dreaming about being late for something, because in my dream I dramatically fell to my knees and screamed, 'nooooooooooooooooooooo' threw my hands in the air then started to pull my hair. Hahah, I rhymed. Yeah, I figured you would like his strange behavior since well you are mighty wierd yourself.The girl in the dream did not as I've said. She get all mad about him not doing crap around the house and be the typical nagging wife. You know what I mean? It's odd that your dreams can be so normal. I mean you dream about being late for school. I dream about elaborate story things. Last night I dreamt I was watching some documentary/ fantasy series about these raptor looking dinosaurs who lived alongside humans. The archaeologists were discussing what they had learned from an excavation of one of these dinosaurs. It was a female dinosaur who because she was a mom still had her babies in her pouch (yes, these dinosaurs had pouches like kangaroos probably because I am missing Zuko right now). she was after a meal of humans but there was like this eruption/ earthquake and she ended up falling off a cliff to her doom. The archaelogists knew from previous excavations of these dinosaurs that they were capable of making these glider/ balloon things that would catch the air and propel them into flight but momma dinosaur wasn't able to get hers to open because of the humans she was fighting again. From the evidence they had uncovered, momma dinosaur was up against one of these bands of bandits which would hang out on cliffsides and have these bridge ladders that they could easily dispose of in order to cut off the means of escape from those they wanted to rob or to keep anyone from arresting them. They were a big problem for the human civilizations at the time but those civilizations lacked the means to get rid of them. Then the documentary shifted focus to talking about the civilizations at the time and one group was attempting to ally itself with another nearby. A man was promoted by their king for that purpose and was to escort the princess from the neighboring kingdom back to their palace so she could be married to the king. He like stops at the prison to talk to his friend who is the warden and catches one of the prisoners, a girl who is like a teenager or in her early twenties has stolen the key to her cell and was about to let herself free. The archaelogists talk about the many methods prisoners would use to escape the prison like using their bowls from their meals as shovels to dig underneath the walls of the prison and get outside. Anyway the guy asks his warden friend if he could see this female prisoner alone and his warden friend is yukking it up because he knows what his friend has in mind. That's when I woke up. Hmm, maybe the crazier you are the more normal your dreams are. Well, something about me has to be normal I suppose. Something has to balance out all my craziness. xD I hardly consider myself normal, Ling. I'm sorry, but the first thing that came to my mind was: "Damned straight." Hehe, I know you guys aren't normal, but I think I'm an exception to the craziness since I'm extremely crazy. o.o I get drunk off sugar and sleep deprivation! Woooo!!!! |

What kind of au? Like an Avatar cross over with Death Note? That'd be... awesome, I think. Light could go nuts and kill off Aang... I mean, scare the crap out of Aang so that the world will know how much of a p***y he truly is. o.o... xD don't mind me, sleep deprivation and I got the crap scared out of me by noise makers from the crazy a** Steelers fans in the streets waiting for the parade. I'd be very disappointed in him if he lived up to the character he rped and got himself an evil controlling girlfriend. I hope the reason is because he is busy with a job or is just plain lazy. It's bad enough having to compete for his attention with his irl friends and his Fma ones here. I don't need to compete with a possessive girlfriend. That's true. I'm leaning towards the job or just plain lazy thing. xD I know that's what kept me away, as well as being busy. You know what's funny, I couldn't sleep last night. o.o After seeing a sig with L on it, I had a strange dream of an au of Death Note. What kind of au? Like an Avatar cross over with Death Note? No thank you. She probably wouldn't give me the chance to do it anyway. She knows how I feel about Mai. It is only because Tanyeera intervened in the cosplay thread that our feuding ceased. I also would feel like Tanyeera does having to watch my true favorite character being played like a whiny shrew. I wish so much that we had an rp of our own but sadly Zuko is never around anymore and I haven't seen Aang in ages. I don't know why, but I find it hilarious when you use the word 'shrew,' Katara-chan. Don't you find it odd, whenever I seem to be on all the time, Zuko is never on, and when I'm away... well, Zuko doesn't come on much anyway, if at all, but in the past he seemed to be on more when I wasn't. Do you think I upset him? O.O Maybe he has psychic powers and knows when I won't be on so he knows it's safe to get on. T.T In any case, I'm sure Zuko is just really busy. Or maybe he got himself a very controlling girlfriend. I've heard about it from my friend's friend. His girlfriend is so controlling they actually have to ask HER if they want to hang out with HIM. Katara daughter of Water Ling child of Earth Katara daughter of Water Toph Heart of Rock Katara daughter of Water Well, I kept true to Mai's obsession with Zuko and tried to convince him to turn against the Avatar and even gave him a vial of chloroform that he could use to render Aang unconscious. When Zuko refused to use the vial I gave him, I used it on him and held him captive until the gaang came to rescue him. Zuko woke up just as that happened and I was forced to battle them (at the time it was only Katara and Aang because our Sokka hated Zuko and Toph had not been introduced yet). Zuko overcame me and held his swords at my neck. He ordered me to leave but I knew he didn't have it in him to kill me so I stabbed both of my knives into his legs and stole up to Katara to take her prisoner. I took her to a Fire Nation prison and waited for the rest of them to come to me. I figured that if the guards didn't capture them I could force them to surrender by threatening Katara's life (of course Katara was chained up and denied of water). Obviously this will not work for Azula now in the sense that she no longer has what I had, Zuko's desire to win Ozai's approval, to hold over Zuko now. Our Azula as you have read did pretend to know information as to where Ursa was in an attempt to manipulate him so maybe you could use that. Mai and Azula also preyed upon Sokka's insecurity as being a not so useful member of the team because he lacked bending ability. As far as I can see, the weak link in the group that could be useful to Sha and Azula is Ty Lee. The usual m.o. of both me and my old rp's Azula was to corrupt whomever we saw was the weak link and glean vital information from them as well as convince them to go against the group because only we cared about them whilst the group was just using them. In this comic series written by one of the storyboard artists of Avatar, Zhao survives the Siege of the North and lives amongst the Water Tribe. Azula attempts to bribe him by offering him his old position as admiral of the fleet as well as control of the North Pole when she regains the throne in exchange for information of the Water Tribe spirits. She was hoping that by communing with the spirits she might learn the secret to Aang's sparklypoo unbending and avoid losing her powers in a fight with him. I don't know how helpful these examples were but I hope they do provide some inspiration for something truly epic that you could come up with on your own. *punches everyone extra hard* Aw, you guys! I really did miss the fun we had together, but yeah, I had some issues to sort out. sweatdrop Wow, Katara. That's a really phenomenal plot..you sure you don't want to join the RP as Mai? PS. Tanyeera? Did you ever think that Azula-the rp-ing one, might actually look at your posts and see what a mockery we've made out of her? She might, you know, because you coudl be rp-ing with the other guys and she'd want to catch some backlog from your RPs if like she goes on a holiday or whatever? You should probably a) remove the "posts" underline thing from your profile b) make sure there is no backlog for her to catch up on c) make your profile available to friends only. Or delete everything, but pfft. Ah, okay, lemme say this: Azula is the oldest. She's actually around your age, Katara. Ain't that a doozy? Now, Tanyeera, yeah, she came first (though usually I wouldn't care much). And I know you have to abide by the rules of polite roleplaying etc. And maybe Azula thinks her character has to be off because of what happened during the finale? Even then, though, her roleplaying smells a bit like the chicken with wine my family had yesterday... And we're all new. Maybe Azula is really manipulating you into thinking she's a cheesy roleplayer to actually test you. Perhaps, but I find that way unlikely. Well, I have no idea how to deal with this exactly, since I haven't even been accepted in the RP yet. However, when/if (O-O?) During my old rp when the Azula became lax, I upped Mai's evilness to a level that she went beyond the Fire Nation princess. It was up to me to keep the story moving and as much as I didn't like that I knew that the story would suffer if I didn't. I am also a respectful rper and play the way that you do. However when faced with a person who wasn't giving me the same opportunities to fight back in a fight I will fight fire with fire. I am not saying you ought to do as Toph proposes. I still think my course of action is the best one. Even if you showed Sword Master Sokka how to rp Azula it wouldn't matter. If she is that dense not to realize how to take advantage of Sha then she isn't going to learn from your example anymore than I could teach Bending_Master_Katara how to rp Katara the right way. I am afraid Tanyeera that you are the only one thus far truly capable of playing a good Azula on Gaia. It is a heavy burden I know but in a sense I think it is an honor to know that you know the character you love as well as the writers of the show if not even more rofl . I think really what rps often suffer from is an unwillingness of people to take on antagonistic roles. If Azula wasn't the only antagonist in an rp then some of the story directing responsiblity would be shared. Don't worry about rambling. I am known for my lengthy rants and don't mind others doing the same. There is no anti ramble policy on this thread. Just no soliciting, bumping, or scamming. Its not being an antagonist I mind so very much. I have a whole bunch of evil characters around. Obviously this will not work for Azula now in the sense that she no longer has what I had, Zuko's desire to win Ozai's approval, to hold over Zuko now. Our Azula as you have read did pretend to know information as to where Ursa was in an attempt to manipulate him so maybe you could use that. Mai and Azula also preyed upon Sokka's insecurity as being a not so useful member of the team because he lacked bending ability. As far as I can see, the weak link in the group that could be useful to Sha and Azula is Ty Lee. The usual m.o. of both me and my old rp's Azula was to corrupt whomever we saw was the weak link and glean vital information from them as well as convince them to go against the group because only we cared about them whilst the group was just using them. In this comic series written by one of the storyboard artists of Avatar, Zhao survives the Siege of the North and lives amongst the Water Tribe. Azula attempts to bribe him by offering him his old position as admiral of the fleet as well as control of the North Pole when she regains the throne in exchange for information of the Water Tribe spirits. She was hoping that by communing with the spirits she might learn the secret to Aang's sparklypoo unbending and avoid losing her powers in a fight with him. I don't know how helpful these examples were but I hope they do provide some inspiration for something truly epic that you could come up with on your own. *punches everyone extra hard* Aw, you guys! She might, you know, because you coudl be rp-ing with the other guys and she'd want to catch some backlog from your RPs if like she goes on a holiday or whatever? You should probably a) remove the "posts" underline thing from your profile b) make sure there is no backlog for her to catch up on c) make your profile available to friends only. Or delete everything, but pfft. Ah, okay, lemme say this: Azula is the oldest. She's actually around your age, Katara. Ain't that a doozy? Now, Tanyeera, yeah, she came first (though usually I wouldn't care much). And I know you have to abide by the rules of polite roleplaying etc. And maybe Azula thinks her character has to be off because of what happened during the finale? Even then, though, her roleplaying smells a bit like the chicken with wine my family had yesterday... And we're all new. Maybe Azula is really manipulating you into thinking she's a cheesy roleplayer to actually test you. Perhaps, but I find that way unlikely. Well, I have no idea how to deal with this exactly, since I haven't even been accepted in the RP yet. However, when/if (O-O?) I get accepted, I will try my best to bring out the best in everyone, and to try my best too. Don't worry, Tanyeera, hang in there. You've got us, after all. mrgreen And have Sword Master Sokka all pissed off because I am playing Mai as a shallow, narcissistic psychopath rather than the reserved sweet girl she believes her to be? No thank you. She probably wouldn't give me the chance to do it anyway. She knows how I feel about Mai. It is only because Tanyeera intervened in the cosplay thread that our feuding ceased. I also would feel like Tanyeera does having to watch my true favorite character being played like a whiny shrew. I wish so much that we had an rp of our own but sadly Zuko is never around anymore and I haven't seen Aang in ages. I don't know why, but I find it hilarious when you use the word 'shrew,' Katara-chan. Don't you find it odd, whenever I seem to be on all the time, Zuko is never on, and when I'm away... well, Zuko doesn't come on much anyway, if at all, but in the past he seemed to be on more when I wasn't. Do you think I upset him? O.O Maybe he has psychic powers and knows when I won't be on so he knows it's safe to get on. T.T In any case, I'm sure Zuko is just really busy. Or maybe he got himself a very controlling girlfriend. I've heard about it from my friend's friend. His girlfriend is so controlling they actually have to ask HER if they want to hang out with HIM. Sad, ne? |
