Ugh, my internet problems are annoying me. >.< I can't believe my mom's computer hard drive died the same time my wireless network card did. Sucks so hard core. I'm sorry. I thought you want a general thesis of what we were talking about and not the actual ins and outs of the entire argument. Isn't it funny how one bad thing can't happen at one time, a multiple of bad things have to happen at the same time? Well this is what happens when I jump to conclusions and don't try anything to fix the problem. -.-; We reset the modem and now I have internet, though slow as it is... I might as well not have it. I think my wireless network card might STILL be on the fritz because I still can't get connection at school. Then again, I was told I have to look for a certain connection and I haven't been finding it, so who knows. Even my wireless connection has its glitchy moments. I play around with it until I get the damn thing to work. It is possible your computer might be clogged up with some malware, adware, or other such nasties that is making it slow. It might also need to be defragged. There are so many variables that it is hard to say just what is making your internet acting retarded. I don't know, but my friends mom is looking at my mom's computer, maybe I can ask her if she'll look at my laptop as well. That sounds like a good idea. Yeah, I can't wait to go home. I'm so freaking burnt out and I miss talking to everyone. @.@ |

Katara daughter of Water Ling child of Earth Ne, I don't know if I'll be able to get on during break. I have a suspected network card poofing on my hands and my mom's hard drive decided to take a dump. So it will most likely happen that I have to walk to the library to get on the internet during break, so I really don't know. What do you mean by suspected network card? I have a laptop, right? It has a wireless network card and apparently they can go bad and die on you. My friends and I suspect that its dying is why I'm not getting internet, but there's a rumor flying around that Comcast is going to replace all the modems in the building since they're crapping (have been crapping out since I got into the dorms) out lately, it could just be the modem. I'm going to bring my laptop to school tomorrow and see if anyone knows how to connect to the internet, then I'll be able to see if it is my network card or not. |
