 Feylin needed no further indication. He looked deep into her luminous amber eyes, bent his neck down and kissed Maia with a fiery passion that was hotter than any flame he'd ever been able to produce within his own body. His eyes closed and he hugged her firmly but gently against his body as they shared their first intimate moment together. Feylin felt a warmth within him that didn't come from his inner fire, but from deep within his heart, for he knew he was kissing the one he knew he wanted to spend the remainder of his days with, the one who he knew loved him as much as he loved her. For the first time in his life as a treasure hunter, Feylin knew instantly that he'd found the most valuable, priceless, beautiful treasure of all, his other half. He reluctantly broke the fiery kiss and looked deep into the amber pools that were his lover's eyes, and he saw a happiness reflected in them that no earthly trinket could give him, a luster that no jewel could hold, and a priceless brilliance that no amount of gold or other material wealth could match. In her eyes, he saw the embodiment of love.

Adelai, who had been preoccupied with watching the young girl's transformation into a tiger. her transformation back, then the subsequent murder of some guards by a bloodweaver was distracted from watching his surroundings, so he was very surprised when someone bumped him from behind. He turned to see a petite, golden furred female anthro on the ground, clearly brick walled by his towering stature. When she stood, he saw that she was very short compared to him; At her full height, she was staring him in the chest. She gave a quick apology for slamming into him like that. Then she asked him what he'd seen because she wasn't tall enough to see over th crowd. He described what he'd seen in detail Then he addressed her in his deep baritone. "Why the rush, little lady? I don't think you'd have really wanted to see what went on here with your own eyes. It was pretty gruesome. A few guards were killed by a bloodweaver, and before that, a girl was being arrested by the guards that the bloodweaver killed, and she transformed into a tiger! How's that for suspicious eh?"

Feylin hadn't expected the demon girl to appear so suddenly, and when Jerimiah told him to give her the gun he'd returned, he was more than a little apprehensive. But now wasn't the time for questions. Now was the time for action. "Here!" He said, tossing the weapon to the girl. he then began to squeeze off shots at another hellhound that bounded up to them out of nowhere. It went down in a spray of gore as it's head exploded from the rounds. Another Berserker came running, and he aimed for it's legs, taking it down with two well placed shots to it's leg joints.It was an easy target now, and Feylin offed it with a few shots to it's arms and legs, then it's head. How many of these things were there?!

Feylin dashed quickly along behind Jerimiah, squeezing off shots at the Legionaire, who was hit in the leg. It went down, but not before giving Feylin a slash across his arm. As for the hellhound, he fired shots at it, and high fived himself inwardly at his luck at having taken the hellhound down by taking out it's front right leg. He almost stopped when he thought he heard a female's voice calling out for him, but he knew better than to slow down; It'd be only a matter of time before the Wretch's other friends got there, and Feylin didn't want to be around when they arrived on the scene. "What's the plan, Jerimiah?! Those things definitely weren't alone!"

Feylin had been listening so hard for things that might attack them from above that he hadn't been paying attention to what was in front them. He dove to the ground just in time to avoid the projectile from the weapon of a Wretch just ahead of them, pulling Jerimiah down with him. The skeletal monster advanced on them, it's bony appendages rattling loudly. The Wretch's piercing red eyes glowed, locking onto them. It let out a bloodcurdling screech, calling it's comrades to join it in the hunt. "s**t! Jerimiah, let's go! it just called for it's buddies!"

Feylin nearly stopped Rin from grabbing some of his chocolate, but then he remembered that this was going to be her house too now, and she could do whatever she wanted. He grabbed himself some white chocolate from the fridge and went back to the living room. Walking over to the entertainment center, he opened a drawer and pulled out one of his favorite movies.He smiled and showed it to her. "I hope you like Kung Fu Hustle!" He said as he popped it into the Dvd player. He pressed play and went over to the couch, sitting down next to her.

Feylin began to move forward slowly. He pulled the hammer back on his weapon, keeping his eyes on the monsters ahead. He kept quiet and let Jerimiah lead the way, wondering how the demon planned to scout the area with those monsters lumbering around all over the place. They were sure to have more than a few hellhounds among their ranks, and Feylin didn't want to risk one of them catching his or Jerimiah's scent. And then there was the matter of the mysterious stalker. They were going to have to be on high alert if the assailant was a hostile, which it more than likely was.He kept his eyes and ears open, listening for any noise that could indicate that they were being followed. But the only noise he could hear were his and Jerimiah's footsteps and the moans of what he suspected was a Titan. He sorely hoped that it wasn't a Titan.
