Feylin came to and snapped awake, staring wildly around him, then winced as a powerful throb of pain arced through his head. That's right, the trolls had knocked him out. Then he remembered that he and Maia had been captured. He attempted to move his arms, but found that he'd been chained to the floor by his arms and legs. Looking around him, he saw that he was in a darkened cave with torches burning on the walls for light. The cave was dim, but with his enhanced vision , Feylin had no trouble seeing around him. A large, crude chair set up in the center of the room ahead of him told Feylin that he was in some sort of makeshift throne room. Several trolls crowded the throne, obscuring whatever sat on it. When Feylin's chains rattled, they all turned and stared at him before instantly breaking into a storm of excited chattering and swarming around, giving Feylin a clear view of the troll on the throne. This one was the biggest, ugliest, fattest troll of all, easily 3 or 4 times as big as the others. He wore a crude wooden crown and held a scepter made of knotted wood. His bulbous nose protruded from it's face about two feet and he smelled twice as bad as the others. He stared imperiously at Feylin and let out a deep, guttural laugh that sounded more like the croaking of a bullfrog than a laugh. when he was finished. He addressed Feylin in a deep voice. "Ho ho ho, me Grub, king of forest trolls! You fire cat, you kill troll, me kill you!" Feylin wasn't intimidated. "Where's Maia?! You'll pay dearly if you've hurt her in any way!" The troll king laughed his froggy laugh again. "What you do to me, fire cat? Nothing! you chained up! You soon see my power! Bring magic stick! We see how strong you are after we done with you!"

((Yeah, but I didn't him to seem like he was a god mode character. Besides, what if these trolls have stolen some sort of powerful elven material? Elves and dragons were enemies at one point, so it makes sense that they might have some things that even a dragon can't destroy, and the trolls stole that material somehow. And maybe we could be rescued by elves?))

When Feylin saw Maia being dragged off into the woods, he lost what little control he had left on himself. He struggled even harder against his bonds roaring and spouting huge pillars of flame into the sky. He heard rustling behind him and he turned his head to see a small group of the ugliest, most misshapen creatures that he'd ever seen. Their grizzled looking sickly green skin was mottled and covered with all manner of boils and warts. Their yellow eyes and long rotting teeth repulsed him almost as much as their fetid breath, which he could smell from where he lay. In their knobbly fists, they carried crude wooden clubs. He turned his head up and breathed a gout of flame at them, roasting the foremost troll in an instant. The others jumped aside just in time and began grumbling at each other in an incoherent jargon that Feylin couldn't understand, then one of them advanced on him, raising it's club to strike. Before Feylin could gather the oxygen he needed to fry it, the troll brought it's club down with menacing force, knocking him out cold...
