Talk to him about it. You should try to get him help and hopefully he will understand if he really is your friend. As far as him calling you a druggie, he was probably just being protective because he knows how bad an addiction can be. He probably didn't want you in the same situation.

I was going to say that if you were a senior then you would be better off with Patrick for the obvious reason of leaving school together. Then again if you were a sophmore you would be better off with Eric. I know how bad it hurts to have someone leave you when you're still in school and didn't want you to experience the same pain.

How old are you?

When you're in love... you just seem to know. The way I look at it, if at that current moment you would do anything for that person, then at that current moment you truly do love them. Although that allows many loves in one life time, I have come to find truth in it. I don't believe in having a crush, only loving someone. I also think it's possible to love someone more than someone else, but still love each of them.

As far as the age thing goes, I thing it depends on the people and the point in life. I'm 13 and in love with someone who's 16. It will never work with him being in high school and me being in middle school, because if the time that we don't have. Although, if we were in college, a three year difference wouldn't matter nearly as much, if at all. Maturity (or lack of) is also a very big influence.
