Zebeki Callus
At first, Zebeki just stood there, dumbfounded for the second time today. He had expected her to attack or maybe leave a monster for him to deal with. He turned to Takeshi and muttered, "Well...that was weird." Then, he felt it; his blood began to boil. He felt like he was being stabbed by millions of tiny needles from the inside out. His mouth filled with blood and vomit, and he coughed up both as well as several pieces of iron through a scream of agony. His vision swan as more iron broke through his skin. Eventually, the pain became too much and he collapsed on the ground. How in the hell...? he thought before finally falling unconscious.

Alyss barked, "You call that calming?! He threw my Mr. Fluffles into a wall!"
She turned back to Zebeki and growled, "You will pay for this!" However, now was not the time to transform; with a Chosen in their presence, revealing herself now could jeopardize the mission. Her mood changed; she smiled sweetly at both boys. Waltzing past them, she gathered her pet in her arms and said, "I don't have time to deal with this. But we will meet again...O Guardian of Darkness." Then, she and Mr. Fluffles disappeared in a cloud of black smoke. The Guardian would experience a nasty surprise in three...two...one.

Zebeki Callus
Zebeki chased the thing over the school grounds. He followed it into an alley and cornered it. The thing growled, its tail thrashed around in the air. It took a stance like a cougar ready to pounce. "Come on, I'm not gonna hurt you, little...big fella," he whispered to it. The thing only responded by jumping him. It pinned him to the ground, its face inches from his. Purple goo dripped from its mouth, falling onto Zebeki's face and burning the skin. He stifled a yelp. "Alright. I didn't want to do this but..." he muttered. He closed his eyes and willed the shadows to bend around this monster. To gently lift him off and lull him into sleep. Tendrils of black shifted into existence and surrounded it. But unlike planned they picked it up and spun it around wildly. It screeched as they hurled it into the wall. It slumped into a heap at the base of the wall. Zebeki knelt down beside, sensing its energy. Unconscious, not dead. "I said gently, guys," he turned to the shadows. They appeared to shrink back apologetically.
"How dare you hurt Mr. Fluffles?!" a girl shrieked. He turned to see a little blonde girl standing behind him.
"Oh, this is...your pet?" he rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt-"

Metal Bird
This time the bird ruffled its feathers and hissed at the boy who had thrown the rock. It didn't care about orders anymore. It too felt a violent rage and wanted to satisfy it. Several pieces of the SUV ripped off and connected to the bird. Its wingspan increased tenfold, its beak became sharper, deadlier. Altogether the effect should be terrifying. It roared and charged at the rock-thrower and its target.

((Sorry, I have to go.))
"Shhh!" Zebeki whispered. "You never know who may be listening..." He couldn't detect any demons nearby, but the auras of others would dilute them if they were around. "Well, I guess it's safe." He sighed and relayed his story, "I'm here because..." Then something cought his eye. A wandering hellbeast glared at him. It tracked purple acid all over the floor. Students passed it without notice. It had been watching them. "I have to go," Zebeki told Takeshi. "I'm sorry." And he took off after it. It ran surprisingly fast for a lumbering creature.

"A...job?" Zebeki repeated. He had never had jobs aside from being a Guardian. He wondered what jobs teens could get here. He should go look for one after school. "A mining company, huh? So, you're like, a millionaire. That's cool! What does a mining company do?"

Zebeki laughed, "Yeah. Words and numbers confuse me sometimes. Which are everywhere in school. Guess I'm screwed. And all these hallways look the same anyway. They should, I don't know, paint them different colors or something?" He sighed. School seemed so complicated. How did teenagers in this world survive? Takeshi offered to get him something to eat. He bolted up and said, "Oh, you don't have to do that. But...since you offered." He searched through all the food again until he settled on some of the chicken, fruit, and a carton of milk. "Is this too much? I can pay you back when I get money. How do people make money?"
