Bloom finally got tired of standing at the window and walked over to sit on the bed. Sparky and Puffle had fallen asleep on the floor.

Meanwhile, Gwee had found the cavern where the other were and perched on a nearby rock. He could hear the voices inside and could tell that things were actually better than expected. Gwee decided to stay where he was just to make sure that everything remained alright.

The scene before her eyes startled Bloom out of her near-sleep, and she jumped onto her feet and immediatly clasped her hands together again and began to chant. A few seconds later the shields were up anound the others, but instead of trying to form one around herself she called out to Fai "quick! Grab Zazie and run! We need to escape, get to a safe place! Please hurry though!" The shiled flickered and Bloom concentrated more on her powers before continuing "these shiled won't last long!" She was only using the adrenaline coursing through her body as her source of energy at the moment, for that was all she had to go on.

At Lily's question, Bloom smiled down at her "just a little sleepy. I'll be fine if I can lay down a while. As a matter of fact" she continued, sitting down where she was "Maybe I'll just sit here awhile until we decide what to do. Better than standing on my feet."

Bloom blinked and shook her head to clear her mind and fought off the sleep as best she could. "Pain?" she blearily asked, as if she never heard the word before "but, I don't want anyone to suffer...why don't we go to the nearest inn and tell them our situation. Maybe we can start a tab, or work off the debt...or sleep under the stars" she dreamily finished, looking up at the sky.

Bloom tried to stiffle another yawn but failed. "Fai?" She mumbled, hopelessly rubbing sleep from her eyes, "do you see anywhere we could rest? 'Cause otherwise I'm going to take a nap of the nearest bench." She blearily looked up and saw Zazie's shoe flying back to its owner and wondered why the shoe was flying in the first place. Yes, she definitely needed some sleep.

Bloom sat down on the bed and held Puffle in her lap, gently petting him. Sparky sat by her feet before lying down to take a nap. Bloom yawned, all this excitement had made her forget how late it was. She put Puffle down and walked over to the window, opening it to enjoy a gentle breeze. In a nearby tree she saw Gwee looking nervously to a spot in the far distance that Bloom couldn't see. She made a cooing noise and the little dragon looked over to her before taking flight and landing on the windowsill infront of her. She petted him then softly spoke "I need you to follow the others and keep an eye on them. Make sure they're ok. If they look to be in trouble, come back to me, but otherwise try to stay out of the way. Understand?" Gwee nodded then stretched his wings and took off into the night. Bloom stood by the window and watched him fly off. She hoped everyone would be alright.

After Pan left the room Bloom heard a muffled scream from another room. Concerned, she told the others "I'm going to check on her." and also left the room.

She came to the door where she heard the scream from and gently knocked on it. "Pan? Hello? Are you ok?" She waited a few moments for an answer. When none came she called out "I'm coming in now." and opened the door. The room was empty, but the window was open. Bloom ran over to the window and looked outside. Pan was nowhere to be found. She ran back to the others, nearly tripping in the hallway, and rushed into the room saying "Pan's gone! She jumped out the window!" She immediatly turned and whisteled down the hallway. A few seconds later her two dogs were by her side. She picked one up and turned back to the others "I can have one of my dogs track her scent so we can find her, should I?"

Bloom held her hand close to her chest the second Pan let go and gave her a small smile "yeah...you got me." She was not used to such physical contact, at least not that she remembered. "Are you sure you're ok?" she added.

Bloom was statled when Pan grabbed her wrist, yet she continued to hold onto the washcloth. The grip on her wrist was tight; Bloom felt that if she struggled she wouldn't be able to free herself, so she didn't even try. Instead she looked questioningly at Pan and said "don't you remember? I'm Bloom."
