I went to the New York Anime Fest last year but I wasn't into Gaia so I didn't even notice anythinga bout it while going through the booths. My question is, does Gaia sell anything at the booths or give away anything at the booth?

Well, Cons are for people who like anime and manga (and video games since they move right on in durign the cons) wher you go to splurge all your money.
I'm not joking. you jsut spend all of your money like crazy and take pictures of cosplayers. |

Powerful Tenderness Recently I've heard much of this Twilight series and though I haven't read it myself I got to thinking about female characters in literature, particularly fantasy literature. Now solely romance aside, what fiction books do you know of that have a strong female character as it's protagonist? Sadly I don't have money to actually buy books, but the ones that I have bought I believe have a strong female role model. The Firekeeper series by Jane Lindskold Lanen Kaelar trilogy by Elizabeth Kerner. Those two are the only ones I really have, although in comparison I see Firekeeper (Lindskold) as a much stronger character than Lanen (Kerner). how does reading Twilight make you think of STRONG female leads? >scoffs< Bella couldn't find her way out of a paper bag without getting hurt or doing something retarded. I don't know about strong female leads since normally I can't find a book with one, but the best so far was Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle. |
