Riina looked down, guiltily realizing a lot of what he said was right. "I'm sorry," she said, knowing it probably wouldn't mean anything to him. "I know it won't help, but anything said in spite was just misdirected anger. I was mad at myself for screwing things up and it made me doubt myself and, in turn, everyone around me. It's not fair to you that I broke a promise, even unknowingly, and it's especially not fair that after I was warned I didn't pay attention. I was stubborn; I thought I was right. But now I know that it's true what they say about hindsight being 20/20. And I don't know if you'll forgive me and I wouldn't blame you if you didn't, but that doesn't mean I don't want you to. And even if you don't, I'm still going to work to be better. Because I have to be better." She looked up at him hesitantly, praying for anything but silence. "I have to help, not hurt," she added, so quietly it was almost just a thought.

Riina stared off into the distance, talking mainly for herself. "You tell us you're broken but won't tell us how. You say one minute you hate hospitals and all they stand for then you want to get fixed. You're confusing. And you're acting as if everyone should just accept that. But we can't- we're not all like what you expect; we don't drop everything and run with our tails between our legs when something gets a little different from what we expect." 'You gotta trust someone,' she added silently, only half bitterly.

Riina glanced up at him, looking back at the ground guiltily. "No thanks, Jussi, I'm fine," she answered quietly. "You're acting kind of fake lately," she said off-handedly, half regretting it once the words left her mouth. She wasn't even sure that he had heard her.

"Just because I don't know exactly who you are doesn't mean I don't care," Riina answered evenly, dopping her gaze and staring straight ahead. 'But whatever. I didn't take a step forward so now you think I've abandoned you,' she added silently.

"You're not, though," Riina replied, sliding down against the window, crouching on the floor. "And I would care- I do care," she argued, looking up at him. "I say it so many times it has to be getting old by now, but it's true." She didn't drop her gaze, wanting so badly for him to believe her.

Riina watched Jussi, walking over to stand behind him. "Are you okay?" she asked, knowing he wasn't. Jussi had acted off before, but this- this was different. She stood beside him, leaning with her back to the glass. "I am here for you," she whispered so quietly she barely even heard it herself.

Riina walked over to the bar, blowing her bangs out of her face, or rather trying to before giving up and pulling her hair back into a ponytail. "Anything you need me to do?" she asked Jussi, washing down the top of the bar for probably the hundredth time. Riina scratched the back of her head with the muzzle of her handgun before placing it back in its home, her back pocket.

Riina fell back against the tree, leaning to support her weight. "I should have came to expect this..." she trailed off, talking to no one. 'But I'm a big girl and gotta move on,' she added sadly to herself. "And memories are just that I guess," she said quietly, pushing herself off the tree and heading back to the restaurant. The snow had made her too numb to remember she was cold, but she wanted to gt back to her room if onloy for the moment.

"You do know me," Riina said bitterly, dropping her gaze to the snowy ground. "But you obviously don't want me, and I'm sure you're happy I'm finally figuring it out," she spat, standing to walk away. She turned, fists clenched, but her body wouldn't let her move, no matter how she tried. "Te aari lopuksi ehtiminen mikä te ainiaan palvelukseen halutaan," she whispered to him, her eyes wet, and freezing against the cold wind.

Riina fell to her knees in front of him. She reached out for his shoulder but instead her hand hit the rough, cold bark of the tree. "Jussi..." she plead in a whisper, looking him in the eyes. Well, she would have been if his eyes were open.
