A young man, with a five o' clock shadow, was thrown quiet violently into a room, filled with only two beds, and the dreaded white walls. Forcing his weak but still strong body up. A man with an iron will, and no reason to live. After seven years in the Asylum, the man had lost all of the colour in his hair, it was as gray as the Crayola Crayon, and after all of the experiments forced upon him, his eye colour faded as well ... to a dull lifeless, gray. His sanity was pushed to the extreme every day, every second was a fight to survive.
His clothing was rag tag, like everyone else that wasn't a doctor or government official. For him, this was every day life. He had just been brought back from a typical Psychiatric test, they did a good job this time, forcing him to the limits. Again, Vigor the Detained survived. Throwing himself up on the bed, he could not even begin to remember when another occupant was in this room, besides himself. Taking in a sharp breath, he let his eyes droop close. The only escape for your sanity in here was sleep ... or the opt for alternative .... Death. Something he would not succumb to. |

This is the OOC/Recruitment thread for my Asylum roleplay
You, are insane. Story. Line. As time goes by, people tend to lose their sanity. Whither or not by the loss of a loved one, or simply as time goes by, and they finally snap. Some times, these people go to the extreme, murder, rape, suicide, and the world would be better with out them. The Man, or the Government knows this, especially the United States Government. But what are they to do? They cant kill them. So they do the next best thing, lock them in the 'safe rooms' or simply behind bars, this is the answer to the 'issue'. But no one ever questions, "What does the Government do behind closed doors?" or "What happens in the Asylums? How do the get the money to fund it?" Every year a gross PUBLIC check goes out to the Asylums .... but did you know about the under the table funding? Only some do. Eventually they end up in the Asylum as well ... or dead. As either doctor or 'patient', referred to as Detainees, go through the gruesome task of waking up each and every day to the horror they call a Job, or a home. The Doctors leave their houses every day to leave for work. They tell their family, "Its okay, they are just in a room, we only feed them and give them medication." And that is what the Government says too .... but in reality, they have a much worse job, with their lives as well as their families life at stake. Forced to conduct mind boggling and devastating tests, that normal sane human beings would not be able to even think of. The twisted tests they are forced to conjure upon, from genetic altering, to simple Psychological pushing on their already cracked minds. It only gets worse every day. As for the Patients, or Detainees, they are forced to be locked up in a room, from early morning to night, with the occasional let outs for exercise and fresh air, with the exception of some. Separated into different sections, with some Co op rooms, for the barely insane. Every one is separated on way or another, for those who are not .... they are truly lucky. It's an on going struggle between sanity and insanity .... as well as life and death. Only a few have survived to tell the tale .... and even fewer made it out alive .... Male Detainees: Name: Vigor the Detained Age: Twenty three Sex: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual Sexuality of Split Personality: Heterosexual Sanity Level: Six Split personality: A deranged psycho that causes pain to Vigor; he likes to take over whenever Vigor is sleeping, and tend to cause much chaos, it is thanks to him that one lucky person managed to escape ... but at request of V--. Only refer to this personality as the Untrappable, unmerciful, uncompassionate, and unloving .... Sin.... Section: 4 Room: Possible Co ed, Room 120 Martial Status: Single Love: Vigor has no love. Biography: Vigors name was never Vigor, until he was put into this Asylum. He personally, cannot remember his name, and was given the name Vigor the Detained by his fellow detainees for his massive Vigor and strength, to be able to survive Seven years of the Asylum, and able to take the beatings and experiments he was put through. Seven years ago he was implemented into this Asylum being dubbed Insane after smashing his parents skulls into the wall, after being betrayed by them for the final time. His life as a child was never easy, but who said is adult life was either... random spurts of insanity come over him, sometimes making him hurt those close to him. Even though he has had an easier time controlling .... his Sin, Sin. Issues!: He suffers from deranged personality syndrome and the basic fact that he has a deteriorated deranged imagination and the lack of Parental guidance and the constant abuse only helped deteriorate his sanity even more. Physical Appearance: Vigor Altered Split Personality Appearance: Did I ... Sin? Emotional Appearance: Ever since he entered the Asylum, with the promise of leaving in a year, feeling better. He was kept against his will and forced through mind rattling experiments that caused inhuman amounts of anguish ... mentally and physically. His Emotional state is ... Constant depression with no sign of happiness. Personality: He tends to be distant .... and typically violent to keep it that way. He has a few detainees he speaks to, but only for sanity reasons. He has a soft spot, yes .... but good luck finding it, he doesn't know where it is either. |
