yes but if you charge the it with enough energy you might just be able to cause a faster than light speed the only problem i see is the reassembeling of the particals if you can convince me otherwise pm me.

Oh, I don't know enough about really.

well i just figured out a way if we started creating reassemblers now we could in the future return to that exact time of course it would require a lot of money and energy to assemble a single person. but hey science is science.

How long have you been here? Stick to your guns and don't be blinded by bullshit. >_>

It does not matter how much energy you give them, for any object with a real rest mass to reach the speed of light it must be supplied with a infinite amount of energy (going by Einstein). You cannot just pump energy into the particle and hope that it might go faster, it will never even reach c.

if Enistien said it was possible thats good enough for me but thinking about this to much makes my head expolded

"Enistien" doesn't say anything about being bored and the universe changing because of that.

i know but he did have a theory of time travel and even if he never lived to prove its enough for me to belive in time travel

I've done that before. I'm sitting in class, letting my mind wander beyond the lecture....SNAP! I'm back in reality, and 5 solid minutes have passed. Side effects include nausea, spasms, and angry teachers.

Not all loners feel lonely. Most cherish the solitude.

All energy exists in the wave/particle form we call "light." I'm pretty sure that you can't break light particles, or "photons," down into their component parts. Tachyons, on the other hand...

You are talking about PERCEIVED time, not actual 60 seconds in minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day time. The closest paranormal thing your doing is self-hypnotizing yourself. You have to much time on your hands.

Move along, sir!

agreed with most of those who posted. Your perception of itme, is not, in reality, time itself. The closest I can think is the idea below, which is true >_<;

Of two brothers, the same age, weight, etc (twins), one went on a rocket into outer space, and travelled for 50 years. When he returned, he was older, true enough, but his brother, on earth, had aged by much more (this is, saying the brother on the rocket was travelling rapidly, of course).

This was tested through the following procedur;
Scientists had two clocks, both were exact in time. They were not digital, so the second hands moved at exactly the same rate, along with the rest of the clock. They placed one on a jet, which flew around the world. When it returned, they compared the two clocks once more, and they were not equal. They were off from each other, just by a bit, but it was obvious enough to see.

By the way, there may be some flaws in my logic here, I'm not fully aware of the concept in totallity, but I'm not very old either....... sweatdrop

Point firmly taken on board. But mostly what I was afraid of was saying something that I would then have to explain and that is what I don't know enough about. It's one thing to know something and quite another to know precisely why.

that's actually meditation, or being in a trancelike state, your body is still aging, time is still passing at the same rate

time travel implies that you actually move in time, ie 20 years into the future, without aging those 20 years.

There is no such thing as 'time'. It is just a man-made creation of numbers to help us move along better.

It's been agreed the whole world stinks so no one's taking showers anymore.

I disagree. Time really was not created by humans, though it is mesutred by them. For example, noon to evening. The sun would still rise and set, whether humans realized the concept of 'time' or not. We just use it to mesure how things work and the repetitive cycles. For example, days are the rotations of the Earth on it's axis. To us, this happens every 24 hours. Of course, this only applys to Earth. We would still use our hours on other planets, rather than adapting them (like the metric system to the imperial system). Like I said, we dont create it, we mesure it.

Causality cannot exist without time, thus, you lose.

A "state of mind" is not time travel.

i 80% disagree with your notion on time travel and i dont mean this offensively although i cant prove your wrong .. sweatdrop

small and insignificant
but we are all special and unique
