sweatdrop I'm SO using that next time I'm daydreaming! That's kinda what it sounds like to me.

Astronuts do it in space though for the record. Time travel, or... yeah... at least thats what they told us in science.

if Enistien said it was possible thats good enough for me but thinking about this to much makes my head expolded

done it before its quite amusing

"Enistien" doesn't say anything about being bored and the universe changing because of that.

this isn't really time travel, it's more like daydreaming for so long while doing something repetitive so when you come out of it you finished what you've done, like that time I crocheted my scarf and sort of blanked out and when I came back to reality I had nearly finished it. It wasn't time travel, it was me daydreaming and no one noticing. It's possible to daydream while still doing something repetitive. Plus, had you gone forward in time, you wouldn't have finished whatever you were doing.

What? Everybody knows I love girl-on-girl action. I love it more than I love taffy. And I'm a man who enjoys his taffy. Mmmm.^_^

You, my friend, are wrong, for in fact, our perception of time might stop, but time wouldn't stop; we wouldn't be aware of time's passage. It's like saying that when we sleep we travel into the future!

you are exactly right, time is only percieved therefore if you can stop your realization of time itself time you have effectively traveled through time, by your perseption.

and i'm not saying that one person can alter all off time, everyone has their own perseption of time and has control over it

'Course, dude! I'm sure that the "Buddhas" (people who have been enlightened like Buddha was) have accomplished great leaps in time. And of course, no matter what, we are all travelling through time. There are some parts in "What the Bleep Do We Know!?" that sort of hint to this, especially the concept of aging (I mean, if we jump so far, we would look freaking old- BUT, with stress and emotion, we make ourselves age).

Being a solipsist, I couldn't agree more.

Yo.

Now that I think about it, time is quite the illusion The memory of the past can just be some odd device of the subconscious, and is theoretically manipulable. There is only the present and the memory of the "past," so my view of the world can be ultimately static, but the memory could constantly be changing- and I wouldn't notice the difference.

Heh heh, no matter what, the physical world is a perception...

thats exactly what i'm trying to get across but some people can be so stuborn when it comes to theoretical science

you people need to open up your mind scream

Only changing thing is your perception speed..... Time never really skips.

Time is a constant, if you alter your own time, you alter everyone's time.

Study solipsism, folks. It doesn't directly address time, but then again, it takes away the "everyone else" problem.

The Buddha is amused.
i also have a theory about how to travel back in time probably wont work but it all dempends on breaking down an object to its subatomic state then supercharging it to a speed faster than light then reassembeling it

You're right, it won't work. Even if you break it down to particles which are smaller than atoms, it will still have mass and therefore will not be able to accelerate to the speed of light or beyond.

yes but if you charge the it with enough energy you might just be able to cause a faster than light speed the only problem i see is the reassembeling of the particals if you can convince me otherwise pm me.
