Heh, I love the quoting of physics laws as an attempt to disprove dragons could fly. According to the laws of physics bumblebees can't fly, due to thier insufficient wing to body ratio, however every spring the big queens are always knocking about trying desperatley to start their hives.
I personally believe in dragons, but to assume they're as big as people claimed is probably silly. Think of it this way, how many fishermen do you know who over-estimate the size of the one that got away, stories grow with time and repetition.
Also remember this, science as a dicipline isn't infallible. It's strength comes from it's inherent cynical nature.

soo...dragons are really just winged or fringed lizards then? If size can change with telling, so can various attributes like wings and fire breathing.
at what point would you not be able to stretch the story to still call them dragons? Why bother trying to find a dragon like that when there are so many other interesting creatures out there we already have discovered...
