I'm not trolling as much as it seems like it. But here's why I think this. I'm pretty sure that when our government landed on the moon and there are aliens, because there have been a lot of rumors that some moon expedition got attacked by them. I believe they took custody of some of them and are testing them in area 51 as we speak. They have been lying to us because they are doing things that are inhumane to test the aliens and don't want people interfering with rights and stuff. It sounds completely retarded, but the government has just lied so well and so much, that anyone thinking it's true is viewed as an idiot. I'm not 100% convinced though, this is just a theory.
Life on the moon is really, really, really unlikely. I won't talk about coverups or anything like that, but lets just look at energy.
On earth, most energy from 'higher' and sophisticated organisms is taken from oxygen. There is no oxygen on the moon. Other sources of energy can come from other chemical reactions and sunlight. However there's a big problem with the moon. It's nearly devoid of fluids. There's practically no atmosphere except for the heaviest and often most inert gases, and there's no liquid that we know of. It's really really hard to see how, even under ideal conditions, how an organism could metabolize.
See, the thing fluids do for life is that they diffuse. When you breathe, you reduce the oxygen content in the atmosphere around you. However, air is a fluid and it goes through diffusion. It acts to make sure that the excess of carbon dioxide around you spreads away and oxygen can move back to where you can breathe it. Like color dye in water.
So the real issue comes down to energy. There's just not a good way for an organism to sustain itself.
