Who was it who did that experiment where they made proteins from stuff just by heating it?

It was one of Xyre's topics and it had some dumb title about the beginning of life or something to that effect. I can't remember what it was called, but I remember what the article said about the experiment.
DNA is made from Phosphorus, sugar, and some other really basic stuff, so it stands to reason that a simple process can combine them (as experiments like Miller-Urey show). The old "*POOF!* and then everything was suddenly there!" explaination is somewhat demeaning to our understanding of stuff like growth and development.
Phosphorus, Nitrogen, Carbon, Oxygen, and Hydrogen. I doubt it's coincidence that all these elements are common.

Ugh. I finally found it. It was like visiting all my ex-boyfriends, but I found the article.

Since we've established evolution, should we try to establish the thin difference between bio and non-bio on a structural level?

That is a thin difference indeed.
I might be wrong, however, I believe humans did not evolve from monkeys, but humans and monkeys share a common ancestor.

I would just like to say that evolution is real because evolution is pretty much adaptions and mutations over a long period of time. I do believe in god until someone proves he does not exist. But I believe he uses evolution to produce new life forms and change old ones.

In which case, for the sake of logical consistency, you must also believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster, the Invisible Pink Unicorn, Russel's Teapot, the Greek Gods, Michael Jackson's ghost, etc....

In other words, you can't prove a negative.
Hey you took my spaghetti monster idea!!!!
ninja he's hiding in my closet
