I was going to say Velociraptor flu would have killed the child long before then...

Then again, we aren't looking through our "Biblical glasses". I wonder if you need a presciption for those... neutral
No, you don't need a prescription but since you had thought you're obviously not eligible for them.
I must admit that I personally evolved from a monkey about 2 years ago. 3nodding
People and things died so I wouldn't have to grow up a monkey, you jerk.
dont know dont care, we're here thats all that matters and all we can ever know of these thinsg, only theories exist not and will ever exist, proof is impossible, and unimportant.

dont know dont care

Ignorance.

You don't know what a theory is, do you?

Blissful Bloodshed

Proof is possible, and it is quite important. We have plenty of proof, and evolutionary theory is used to come up with new antibiotics and vaccines every year.

So, if I have a sample of your blood that shows you're going to die of testicular cancer, you won't believe me, or care about it?

My goodness, because it's far more likely we were created by a bored bearded deity 6000 years ago, and spread by gross and systematic inbreeding from two humans, the latter of which was grown from a discarded rib bone. No, wait, I'm wrong. Adam and Eve had two sons. Obviously through divine magic those sons succesfully procreated, and- No, I'm wrong again. One of them killed the other, and-

Er...

Yeah. Biblical lore makes so much more sense than your basic theory of evolution.

Adam and Eve had more then two sons, they had man children. The main focus was on Cain and Abel for being about the first murder. You should really read what your opposing before you start talking. Thanks

Since you are an expert, could you please explain the other things?
yup we do share a common anscestry with apes. there are way too many simularities in current day humans and monkies...
The scientific evidence in irrefutable.

1) Humans share 98% of their DNA with apes.

2) Skeletal remains show human characteristics in the early Homo line. (Anticipating immaturity here: please no jokes.) Although there may be debate as to when each species broke off and went extinct, there is NO debate that the line eventually spawned both apes and humans. If you go far enough back on the timeline, yes, you do find monkey-like primates which were the common ancestor of all living primates.

Why this is so hard for some people to accept, I fail to understand. No holy book can hope to tell us the entirety of the human story, simply because they were penned by humans.
In the hope of finding a common ground between us two groups I say, "Lamarck was a loon."
P.S. Feel free to ask what I mean.
Well there are three sides on this, i stand on two.

side one) cristianity: we were created by god

side two) Evolution: we have a comon ancestor as apes

side three) evolution: we came from apes

i stand on side one and side two becouse if evoultion is real side two is the most likley to be true and if it is not true then i am trusting in cristianity side one.
I like it! Devil's advocate is always a smart play.

I'm not a big fan of semantics, but aren't 2 and 3 saying the roughly same thing?
