I just recently started running for fitness and I was wondering what other use as inspiration or motivation when it comes to running. How do you all push yourselves to finish your goal. Currently, I am working on a one-mile run, which I have been able to complete in around ten minutes on a steady basis. I'm trying to get up to eight miles but for now, I can barely make the one. What drives you to run and keeps you going when you want to give up?
I usually give myself a goal that I have to complete whenever I run. For example, when I first started out I could run around a pond near my house twice. I decided that I had to run around it two and a half times. The next day it was three times, the next time 4.
