Nike Question!

So for our anniversary my boyfriend bought me the new Nike Free Run plus 3 shoes. They have the little nike tabs on the bottom of them (image below), which made me think that you could sync them with the Nike plus running app. However, if it's possible, I have no clue how to do it. I'm not quite sure what those little things are for, actually. Do you know what they're for/how to use them?

Any help is greatly appreciated! I want to get the most out of my new shoes!

Yeah, you buy the little peice for twenty bucks or the kit for fourty depending on what apple product you use. (:

you dont really need to use that little extra sensor thing....
i got the same pair and ended up not buying the extra sensor.
when i bought another pair Nike free 5.0 they didn't have a sensor. all i did was downloaded the nike+ running app on my iphone and i run with it strapped to my arm with an armband

it works perfectly.. and here's proof smile
