OKay so im a senior in high school and im decent, but that's all I am. Im not the best, but I can compete. I need to push myself, but when it comes to the meet I kinda just freeze up and run my normal time. So I would like some encouraging words (Or like some hard on stuff like "Stop whining and grow up, run faster." ect)
Fristly; get yourself pumped! Get excited! Get Nervous! You need to get that adrenaline flowing and raging through your body!
I ran cross country in high school so I know the feeling. I always got really nervous, but instead of telling myself I was gonna fail I told myself I'd do great. Think positive thoughts and think about how exciting it is to race against other people!
