I mean, I wasn't on WAYY back then. But I do remember the old Gaia. Like, there was donators. You could go up and ask someone "Hey, can you donate to me?" and the answer would be, "Sure, send trade." Now, people are snobby and greedy and say "GTFO YOU NOOB/NEWB!" Its like people don't understand that they were once a newbie. Just a little newbie with peasent clothes and nothing else. 200g at the most. Begging for stuff. So why make fun of someone else? Its like making fun of yourself. I honestly don't see the point in making fun of them. If I dont have gold, I kindly say, "No, I don't have enough gold. Sorry." And they understand. Why can't people be that nice and not greedy?

I've also realized that Gaia is becoming really stupid. Gaia Cash Shop? Why is anyone gonna spend real money on pixels you can easily make on photoshop? I mean seriously! We need money for bills and gas and stuff we need. Not all this freakin pixalated stuff. Plus, the ads are just scams on here! Like I saw an add for "Vance Vance Revoulouton." WTF IS THAT? Oh I know. SCAM. Gaia is posting scam advertisments that contain computer viruses and I don't like it one bit. That is just Gaia not caring, like they always do. Like in the GCD I think it is, the mods dont even care what the people do. They just are like "Yeah, whatever. I'll get to it in a minute." HA! More like NEVER! Gaia is now hiring just any mod who fills out an app. Because half the mods are people who are not even responsible.

Plus, the MC's are unreasonably high and who has time to save up 1 million gold? Ya know Gaia, we do have lives outside of this website and we do not have time to save up gold for 3 years just to get slippers. I have better things to do. Like I DO want pengies and seals, but that will never happen because Gaia's prices for items are so not humane. Plus, there has been like scammers and hackers outbreak. Scammers everywhere you turn. Hackers too. Also, Gaia banning people for absoutloutly no reason? FTW? Do they just hate us that much? and if that is the case, why do the "banned-for-no-reason" people come back? I wouldn't.

Bottom line, Gaia, your turning into a money-hogging dumpster. SWITCH IT BACK TO THE OLD GAIA.

I've been around for awhile and have noticed these very disturbing trends. Sadly, this is the way many companies choose to go and many have seen their downfall because of the high ammount of old customers/supporters they lost. I really hope Gaia reconsiders their actions against their supporting (older) customers but my hope is probably in vain. I sign though, in hopes that the spirit of Go-Gaia will return.

Also, I'm dressing like this as a bit of a protest.

Hi. I am considering myself a newbie.
-I've only been on here a year.
-But I'd also like to help you get Gaia back. It sounds like it was awesome.
-The only expensive items I have I've earned through posting and making artwork because I think it's ludicrous to charge money for pixels.
-I think MTV's invasion of this site is ridiculous.
-Some of the items on here make little kids' avatars look like sluts.
-Some aspects of the content from the updates and the rest of the site are too old for some younger viewers but that's not even checkable as to how old someone is on here. If I were 7 or 8 for example, I could lie and log on here in no time, I know 'cause when I was 8 I could do that on most sites that checked for age.
-The ads are way too many in number.
-Newbies look like oldbys with all these new items. Someone with about $50 bucks could become a millionaire instantly just by selling MC's or evolving items and if someone like me is genuinly trying to earn the gold I can't get items I want because these new rich people drive the price up on EVERYTHING.

An old Gaia sounds like a great idea.
Someone should make a new site that's like the old one but doesn't rip it off in such a way that you'd probably be sued.

I miss Gaia crying I don't recognize this place anymore. They have forgotten what made Gaia, Gaia in the first place.
They keep thinking up all these new (most of them pointless and unnecessary) things instead of fixing old problems and bugs that have been around for years now! They need to set their priorities straight!
