But other then making babies, sex also feels good and brings you closer to your partner. Though yes, those who have sex with many different people isn't too smart, they have their own mind and body; not yours.

Also. Yes, more and more people are having sex and at younger ages as well. Yes keeping yourself from having a baby is needed for those too young to understand the time (and money) that has to be put in towards it, as it's a living thing that has to be raised to be another person in this world, unlike a non-talking dog.

Though there is nothing you can do. Your just another person in this world telling people "no" which is none of your business to begin with AND just going to make more say "yes".

On a side note; I'm 18, started my period today, and (of course; having to deal with this topic) had sex.

Do I want a baby in this point in time? No. But if I DID get pregnant I would raise it and keep it because that's the kind of person I am. I know the time and money it takes for a baby, as I have a 6 year old sister, 6 year old cousin, a 2 year old cousin, a newborn cousin, along with three of my friends who have babies that I help take care of along with my old coach's daughter (5) and son (1).

I love them all and their all very very cute. Would I want one to be my own? No. But if I had one of my own you can bet that damned well that I would raise it and make sure it grew up to be a real human, not some punk that everyone looks down on.

It really depends on the person. Sex could mean little or nothing like on your stance where sex is just for reproductive purposes meanwhile others put sex on a medium level where it's there for pleasure/reproduction, or it means something beyond that which could fortify it as a sort of thing to express love, companionship, happiness, and everything else as noted before. Sex differs in every person's views, and people shouldn't feel ashamed about it. We're all different, and being human, not one perspective can be the exact right perspective.

Personally I find sex to be on that higher level of meaning. Surely it's really fun and makes me feel amazing, but I find it to be something I would only share with my loved one. That one person would be the one that I would care about the most, who I knows cares about me just as much, and we both agree in being ready for and wait rather then jumping blindly into. It's what my boyfriend and I did. We waited for that moment when we were both ready. So it started off with the usual dating, talking one on one, giving hugs, holding hands, giving kisses, and continued to build up from there. That in itself takes time, and that time together built our foundation of our relationship for each other that represented our love for one another. It wasn't until after that we began to have sex, and it just helped to enforce and better our relationship. Of course that's just my views.

In any case about the poll, why would disagreeing with "Sex only for reproduction" make me a slut? Is it because I find sex to mean something more than that? Is it wrong that I like to have sex with my boyfriend? Oh well. If it does make me a slut, then so be it. I'll at least have fun on Valentine's Day.
