Hoenn. My favorite music, and a wide variety of different environments. I feel that out of all of the regions, Hoenn best captures the feeling of adventure and exploration that the franchise is going for.

Kanto for the nostalgic oldfag music

Jhoto for the annoying phone ap, introduction of breeding and chasing the legendaries around the map ordeal.

Sinnoh and Hoenn for general play, exploration and legendaries. The music was fine too, but I can't say for certain without refreshing my memory. Also, dat Cynthia.

Unova for the exploration/environment, seasonal differences and music in some areas.

They all have their shallow pros and cons.
